  • Publication number: 20140354574
Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes a touch panel, an acceleration detector, an angular velocity detector, and a controller. The touch panel has an operation surface, and detects a contact with the operation surface and outputs a contact detection signal. The acceleration detector detects an acceleration of the electronic apparatus, and outputs an acceleration signal. The angular velocity detector detects an angular velocity of the electronic apparatus, and outputs an angular velocity signal. The controller is connected to the touch panel, the acceleration detector, and the angular velocity detector. When the acceleration signal is input from the acceleration detector and the angular velocity signal is input from the angular velocity detector, the controller outputs the contact detection signal as a contact determination signal.

  • Publication number: 20140009392
Abstract: An electronic device includes a housing having a display, an angular velocity sensor, an acceleration sensor, and a controller. The angular velocity sensor detects an angular velocity around the X axis parallel to the display. The acceleration sensor detects an acceleration along the Z axis, which is perpendicular to the display and orthogonal to the X axis. The controller performs a first process when the angular velocity sensor detects a positive angular velocity first and then detects a negative angular velocity, and the acceleration sensor detects a change in the acceleration along the Z axis. The controller, on the other hand, performs a second process when the angular velocity sensor detects a negative angular velocity first and then detects a positive angular velocity, and the acceleration sensor detects a change in the acceleration along the Z axis.

  • Patent number: 6816056
Abstract: The present invention relates to the resistors used for detecting current in a current-carrying circuit as a voltage, and aims to provides a resistor which assures highly accurate measurement of resistance even if the measuring point is not precisely placed. To obtain the above purpose, the resistor of the present invention comprises a sheet metal resistor element (11) and separate metal terminals (12),(13) electrically connected to both ends of the sheet resistor element(11). These terminals (12),(13) are made of metal having the same or greater electrical conductivity than that of the resistor element (11). With the above configuration, resistance of the terminals can be made smaller than that of the resistor element. This enables to reduce the proportion of resistance of the terminals in the entire resistor, allowing to ignore its effect on fluctuation of resistance due to deviation in measuring points of a resistance measuring terminal.
