  • Patent number: 11964665
Abstract: A vehicle speed calculating device includes a vehicle speed calculating unit configured to calculate a control vehicle speed that is acquired by estimating a vehicle body speed that is a speed at which a vehicle is actually traveling, as a state variable used to control an onboard device configured to operate to realize various functions provided in the vehicle. The vehicle speed calculating unit is configured to include an extraction function of extracting at least one wheel speed acquired from at least one wheel that is assumed to be rotating in a state in which an influence causing a difference from the vehicle body speed is likely to be small, out of wheel speeds of a plurality of wheels, and a calculation function of calculating the control vehicle speed based on the at least one wheel speed extracted by the extraction function.

  • Publication number: 20030059747
Abstract: The meal advice system of the present invention provides appropriate next meals in consideration of the previous meal taken by a dieter. The previous meals are transmitted as an image data from a dieter terminal to a server which responds to relay the image data to an analyst terminal for requesting the analysis of foods contained in the meal. The analysis result is transmitted back to the server where nutrient constituents of the analysis result are compared with prescribed nutrient amounts needed for the dieter to select a collection of the next meals containing foods compensating the deficient nutrient amounts. Then, a proposed menu containing the collection of the meals is transmitted to the dieter and/or a meal assistant who serves the meal to the dieter.

  • Patent number: 4721438
Abstract: A fluid pump has a pumping member which defines the boundary of a pump chamber and is driven to reciprocate between the positions of expanding and contracting the pump chamber for drawing in the pump chamber a fluid and feeding it into a vessel to be pressurized thereby. The pumping member is connected to the output shaft of a reversible motor through a driving linkage capable of translating the rotary motion of the output shaft into the reciprocating motion of the pumping member. A release valve is provided in a fluid path between the pump chamber and the vessel for rapidly releasing the pressurized fluid out of the vessel.

  • Patent number: 4401929
Abstract: A control apparatus of an automatic door is adapted such that a time period required for opening a door to a full-opened state is stored and a target time period required for opening the door to a half-opened state or to a 3/4-opened state is determined by evaluating the stored time period for opening the door to a full-opened state. In an operation mode for opening the door to a half-opened state or a 3/4-opened state, comparison is made of a lapse time period of the current operation for opening the door and the target time period is calculated, in advance whereupon a motor is brought to a stop upon coincidence thereof.
