  • Publication number: 20090232486
Abstract: In the image capturing apparatus which images a micro plate 10 in which a liquid sample is contained as a screening object, an imaging unit 3 having a first optical axis A1 and an illumination unit 4 having a second optical axis A2 are housed in a positional relation therebetween to be vertically overlapped with each other, the micro plate 10 is held in a horizontal attitude at a selected observation position of any one of the first observation position [P1] and the second observation position [P2] which are set at the positions higher or lower than the first optical axis A1, respectively, and an optical path of light irradiated along the first optical axis A1 is bent to any one of an optical path 1 at an upper side or an optical path 2 at a lower side by using an optical path switching unit 7 which is disposed at a middle position [PM]. Therefore, it is possible to image the micro plate 10 from any one of the upper side and the lower side thereof.

  • Patent number: 7583057
Abstract: When a control section (39) turns on a switch (31, 33, 35), a capacitor (37) is connected to a secondary battery (B1) in parallel. Accordingly, voltage between both ends of each capacitor (37, 38) reaches voltage between both polarities of each secondary battery (B1, B2). Thereafter, when the control section (39) turns off the switch (31, 33, 35) and turns on a switch (32, 34, 36), each capacitor (37, 38) is connected to the secondary battery (B2, B3) in parallel. The capacitor (37, 38) is charged/discharged to balance voltage between both polarities of the secondary battery (B1 to B3).

  • Publication number: 20090136167
Abstract: A bearing apparatus including a rolling bearing having an outer race (11), an inner race (12) and a rolling member (13) disposed between two races, and a thermal sensor (TS) measuring an internal temperature of the rolling bearing. Wiring from the thermal sensor extends to outside via a through-hole (lid) formed in a component of the bearing apparatus, and hence the thermal sensor can be disposed in a desired position with excellent flexibility of wiring extension, and can measure a temperature in the desired position of the bearing. The thermal sensor, which can be constructed thin in a small size having the flexibility, can be therefore incorporated in whatever portion of the bearing and can improve a characteristic of detecting an abnormal temperature with a high response of the temperature detection.

  • Publication number: 20090120998
Abstract: A heating and pressurizing apparatus (101), to which a circuit board (70) with electronic components (8) pre-bonded thereto via bonding elements (9) is carried in, is provided. The heating and pressurizing apparatus post-bonds the electronic component to the circuit board by heating and pressurizing the electronic component by a contact member (1211) having a heating device (122). By executing the pre-bonding and the post-bonding of the electronic components to the circuit board independently of each other, the time required for the post-bonding can be reduced, compared with the conventional case, and the productivity of the whole mounting line can be improved.
