  • Publication number: 20100035776
Abstract: The present invention aims to improve the extreme-pressure properties and compatibility with seals of lubricating grease compositions used at lubrication points where extreme-pressure properties and seal-resistance properties at high loads are required in various kinds of machinery. To this end the present invention provides a lubricating grease composition wherein from 0.1 to 3% by weight of a molybdenum dialkyl dithiocarbamate, from 0.1 to 3% by weight of benzothiazole compounds and from 0.1 to 3% by weight of calcium sulphonates are incorporated in a grease in which a thickening agent is blended in the base oil.

  • Publication number: 20090305920
Abstract: The present invention aims to offer a lubricating composition with excellent heat resistance, mechanical stability, water resistance, corrosion resistance, load resistance and flame resistance. To this end the present invention suggests that from 2 to 68% by weight of tricalcium phosphate relative to the total composition is added to a base oil, which may be a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil. Surfactants are further added, and the whole is thoroughly mixed and kneaded to give a semi-solid lubricating composition. For the surfactants, non-ionic surfactants are most suitable, and fatty acid esters such as glycerine fatty acid esters, sorbitan fatty acid esters and sucrose fatty acid esters may be used. The amount used is from 0.2 to 18% by weight relative to the total composition.

  • Publication number: 20060154833
Abstract: Use of a lubricating grease composition-comprising: (A) base oil selected from mineral oil, synthetic oil or mixtures thereof; (B) one or more urea compounds; and (C) one or more metal salts of a fatty acid wherein the metal is selected from the group consisting of aluminium, magnesium, zinc, calcium and mixtures thereof, in order to reduce fretting corrosion.

  • Patent number: 5171471
Abstract: Novel ferroelectric and antiferroelectric liquid crystal compounds of the invention, which comprise those showing optically tristable states in phase S*.sub.(3), have a wide range of phase transition temperature so as to be not only preferably used solely as display element material but also mixed with any other liquid crystal to desiredly expand the above range wider and make optical response time faster.Typical compounds are represented by ##STR1## in which Z means CF.sub.3, C.sub.2 F.sub.5, CHF.sub.2, CH.sub.2 F, CClF.sub.2, CCl.sub.2 F, CF.sub.3 CCl.sub.2 or C.sub.3 F.sub.7, m' and n' are same or different with each other and each is an integer of 1-20.
