  • Patent number: 7626129
Abstract: A case has a penetrating hole, which is provided with a breathable film. A protective structure comprises a protective ring and a protective cap, and is provided outside the case so as to cover the breathable film. A gap between the protective ring and the protective cap is an opening connecting the inside and outside of the protective structure. In a cross-sectional view, an outside upper edge of the opening (i.e. point B) is positioned on or inside a straight line connecting an outer edge of the breathable film (i.e. point C) and an inside lower edge of the opening (i.e. point A). The breathable film can be protected from an intentional load applied thereto.

  • Publication number: 20060206463
Abstract: A first interface accepts a user specified first question sentence. A question analysis unit analyzes the first question sentence. When the first question sentence queries a plurality of matters, the question analysis unit generates a plurality of second question sentences for individually querying each of the plurality of matters from the first question sentence. A search engine makes searches for documents which match respective matters queried by the plurality of second question sentences from a morphological index database in accordance with the plurality of second question sentences. A second interface provides a user with a search result for the first question having reflected thereon results of document searches for the plurality of second question sentences by the search engine.

  • Publication number: 20050216453
Abstract: A user interface enables the user to select a classification scheme from a group of classification schemes indicated by classification scheme information. The classification scheme information is stored in a classification-scheme storage unit as results of classification performed on data of arbitrary databases. The user interface also enables the user to select, from the group of databases, a database to which the selected classification scheme is applied. A classification module classifies the data of the selected database based on the selected classification scheme.

  • Patent number: 4374616
Abstract: An image-forming apparatus comprising an original-support plate for placing an original document thereon, a photosensitive member support stand disposed opposite to, and beneath, said original-support plate for placing a photosensitive member thereon, a charging-exposing unit for forming a latent electrostatic image corresponding to the original document on the photosensitive member, said charging-exposing unit being mounted between the original-support plate and the photosensitive member support stand for transverse reciprocation, and a power driving source for moving said charging-exposing unit reciprocally. The charging-exposing unit includes a mechanism for feeding the photosensitive member. During the return movement of the charging-exposing unit, the photosensitive member transfer mechanism acts on the photosensitive member placed on said support stand to move the photosensitive member incident to the return movement of the charging-exposing unit.

  • Patent number: 4362076
Abstract: A cutting apparatus for an electrostatic copying machine includes a fixed blade having a straight cutting edge, a rotary shaft mounted for rotation on the frame of the machine, and a rotary fixed to an carried by the rotary shaft, the rotary blade having a spirally curved cutting edge. A wrap spring clutch is capable of transmitting rotation of a continually rotating gear to the rotary shaft and rotary blade. The wrap spring clutch is prevented from operation by a control cog of a double cog member. An inclinable member operates the double cog member to release the wrap spring clutch to enable rotation of the rotary shaft and rotary blade. The double cog member has a rotation lock cog which stops the wrap spring clutch after a predetermined rotation of the rotary shaft and rotary blade.

  • Patent number: 4357101
Abstract: A mechanism for supporting a cover lid, particularly an original document cover lid of an electrostatic copying apparatus, includes a generally U-shaped support member for supporting the cover lid. A pair of arms of the support member are fixed to a pair of hinge members which are mounted on the machine frame for rotation about an axis. Support pieces are fixed to the hinge members for rotation therewith about the axis. First springs are connected to the support pieces for urging the hinge members, the support member and the cover lid to rotate about the axis in a first direction toward an open position of the cover lid. A revolving plate is pivotally mounted on the machine frame, and a support bar is fixed to one of the hinge members and extends into an elongated opening of the revolving plate, such that rotation of the hinge members around the axis causes the support bar to pivot the revolving plate between first and second positions.

  • Patent number: 4295731
Abstract: An electrostatic copying apparatus has a copying paper wound in a roll-like form, and an endless drive cable loop is wrapped about two drive reels rotated in one direction so as to cause part of an optical device or an original document carrier to travel reciprocally during a copying operation. Each copying operation mode, such as copying paper feeding, exposure, and copying paper cutting, is timed by means of mechanical constructions including a moving member to cause a paper feed detecting member, an exposure detecting member, a paper cut detecting member and a de-energization detecting member to pivot. These pivot motions result into a paper feed linkage actuation of a paper feed device, an exposure linkage energization of an exposure lamp, and a paper cut linkage actuation of a paper cut device.

  • Patent number: 4033689
Abstract: An electrostatic photographic copying apparatus includes an optical system for projecting an image of an original onto the surface of a photosensitive drum. The system consists of openings for exposure of the original and the photosensitive drum, first and second reflex mirrors, and a mirror lens. The mirror lens is disposed so that light from the original is reflected by the first reflex mirror into said mirror lens and from the mirror lens back to the first reflex mirror. The light from the original is then reflected by the first reflex mirror to the second reflex mirror and from the second reflex mirror onto the photosensitive drum to thereby form a four-fold reverse image of the original being copied.

  • Patent number: 4012139
Abstract: A photosensitive drum-type electrostatic copying apparatus includes a size designating member disposed adjacent to the original to be copied. The size designating member is connected by a cable to a position adjusting member that is rotatably mounted coaxially with the drum. As the size designated member is moved, the position adjusting member is rotated to position a switch in correspondence to the desired length of the original to be copied and the transfer paper. The position of the switch determines the length of the transfer paper by activating a cutter when the desired length of the transfer paper is sensed by the switch.
