  • Patent number: 8357624
Abstract: A lens formed of a high-refractivity low-dispersion glass and free of fogging and scorching on its optical-function surface, which is obtained by precision press-molding of an optical glass having a refractive index (nd) of over 1.83, an Abbe's number (?d) of 40 or more and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 640° C. or lower and containing no Li2O and has one form of a meniscus form, a biconcave form or a plano-concave form.

  • Publication number: 20120064861
Abstract: Provided is a communication terminal device which can prevent the situation that the communication terminal device cannot be used for a while within a security area, can release a security lock without making a user aware of the release, and can increase usability. In the device, a GPS unit (105) acquires current position information. By a security setting unit (110), security is released when the position information is within the security area, and security is set when the position information is outside the security area. An information storage unit (104) previously stores a BSI of a base station associated with the security area. A radio unit (102) acquires BSIs of a plurality of base stations. A GPS control unit (108) controls a timing to start acquisition of the position information by the GPS unit (105), on the basis of the BSI stored in the information storage unit (104) and the BSI acquired by the radio unit (102).

  • Publication number: 20040206116
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a glass article comprises the steps of heat softening a glass material that has been preformed and press molding the glass material with a pressing mold. A glass material having a surface free energy of greater than or equal to 60 mJ/m2 is fed to the heat softening step, and then fed to the press molding step. Alternatively, a surface layer is formed on a preformed glass material having a surface free energy of greater than or equal to 60 mJ/m2, and then the preformed glass material is fed to the heat softening step and press molding step. Provided is a method of manufacturing glass products capable of easily obtaining glass products without surface fogging, clouding and cracking without large scale facility.
