  • Patent number: 11967709
Abstract: The present invention provides a composite oxide that can achieve a high low-temperature output characteristic, a method for manufacturing the same, and a positive electrode active material in which the generation of soluble lithium is suppressed and a problem of gelation is not caused during the paste preparation. A positive electrode active material for non-aqueous electrolyte secondary batteries, including a lithium-metal composite oxide powder including a secondary particle configured by aggregating primary particles containing lithium, nickel, manganese, and cobalt, or a lithium-metal composite oxide powder including both the primary particles and the secondary particle, wherein the secondary particle has a hollow structure inside as a main inside structure, the slurry pH is 11.5 or less, the soluble lithium content rate is 0.5 [% by mass] or less, the specific surface area is 2.0 to 3.0 [m2/g], and the porosity is 20 to 50 [%].

  • Patent number: 8032047
Abstract: A fixing device includes a non-contacting thermistor (54) disposed in the vicinity of the surface of a heat roller (21) and an upper cover temperature thermistor (60) for detecting the temperature of a pressure roller (22). The calculated surface temperature (T) of the heat roller 21 is calculated based on the detected temperature (T1) detected by the non-contacting thermistor (54), the detected temperature (T2) detected by the upper cover temperature thermistor (60), the distance (L1) from the non-contacting thermistor (54) to the surface of the heat roller (21) and the distance (L2) from the non-contacting thermistor (54) to the upper cover (51).

  • Patent number: 7618038
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a main body (110) and a sheet feeding tray (600) that stores the stack of media (601). The sheet feeding tray (600) includes retractable guides (620) that restrict lateral ends of the media (601) stacked in the sheet feeding tray (600). The retractable guides (620) can be kept laid when the sheet feeding tray (600) is not in use. Therefore, even when the retractable guides (620) are sufficiently large, the sheet feeding tray (600) can be compact when the sheet feeding tray (600) is not in use. Thus, when the sheet feeding tray (600) is housed in the main body (110), it is not necessary to provide a large recess space in the main body (110), and therefore it is not necessary to increase the size of the image forming apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5702189
Abstract: In a serial printer a pinion and a rack for lateral movement of a carriage, a dislodging member with edges proximate to the rack is provided to remove any chads or other foreign matters that may be attached to the rack, as they approach the pinion with the lateral movement of the carriage. The chads or other foreign matters are prevented from being caught between the pinion and the rack, and noises and increase in the torque due to the rolling in is prevented.
