Patent number: 7075521Abstract: Input position is accurately detected. In an x-detection period of a non-display period, a source drive circuit simultaneously applies to all signal wiring lines a pulse of a peak value proportional to a distance from a gate drive circuit. A coordinate detection circuit obtains an x-coordinate on the basis of a voltage induced at a pen corresponding to the peak value (x-coordinate) of the applied pulse. In a y-detection period, a pulse generation circuit applies one pulse to a common line. The pen detects a potential variation in amplitude proportional to a distance (y-coordinate) from the source drive circuit, generated approximately simultaneously on all the signal wiring lines via a capacitance. The coordinate detection circuit obtains the y-coordinate similarly to the case of x-coordinate detection.Type: GrantFiled: September 11, 2002Date of Patent: July 11, 2006Assignee: Sharp Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Tomohiko Yamamoto, Koji Fujiwara, Keiichi Tanaka, Naoto Inoue, Hideki Ichioka

Publication number: 20050280831Abstract: A reference image of a pattern having a first pitch and projected on a sample 1 by a projector 6 is captured by a camera 5. Next, a measuring image of a pattern having a second pitch and projected on the sample 1 by the projector 6 is captured by the camera 5. Patent number: 6937235Abstract: In order to provide a curved surface model generating technique which makes use of both advantages of a modeling method by using distance image data and a modeling method by using silhouette data while photographic and measurement data from less angles are utilized, firstly a curved surface model generating section inputs 2D color image data and distance image data. When silhouette image data are extracted from the 2D color image data, initial model data are generated by the Volume Intersection method or the like. The distance image data are converted into world coordinate values by using photographing position/posture data. In a fitting processing section, a fidelity where the distance with the distance image data is used as a measure and a fidelity where the distance with the silhouette image data is used as a measure are added to be evaluated, and a curved surface is fitted to initial model data so that curve surface model data are generated.Type: GrantFiled: August 8, 2002Date of Patent: August 30, 2005Assignee: Minolta Co., Ltd.Inventors: Koji Fujiwara, Firo Fujii

Patent number: 6775403Abstract: In a 3-D shape data processing device for producing 3-D shape data from color image data and range image data, a virtual plane is defined at the rear of a range image, and a color image is projected onto the virtual plane. A human figure region rectangle is defined as a rectangle which surrounds a human figure region on the virtual plane, and the range image and the virtual plane are sliced along cutting planes. A line connects an outermost point of measurement and a point at the end of the human figure region rectangle which lie on each of the cutting planes, and a point at the end of the human figure region on the line is defined as a reference point. A region lying between the reference point and the outermost point of measurement is defined as a no-data region, and an additional point is produced in the no-data region. Thus, the device can easily complement the range image data, thereby to easily produce the 3-D shape data based on the range image data.Type: GrantFiled: February 2, 2000Date of Patent: August 10, 2004Assignee: Minolta Co., Ltd.Inventors: Shinichi Ban, Koji Fujiwara
