  • Patent number: 9416935
Abstract: A vehicle direction indicator light includes a light source and a light emitting body. The light emitting body guides light to the outside of the vehicle, and includes an outer emitting surface facing the outside of the vehicle, an inner emitting surface facing the inside of the vehicle, and a tip surface connecting the inner and outer emitting surfaces and facing a front or rear side of the vehicle. The outer emitting surface has a step shape in which a first surface portion that faces the outside of the vehicle and a second surface portion that faces the front side or the rear side of the vehicle are alternatingly connected to each other in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. Light emitted through the second surface portion and the tip surface has a higher intensity than the light emitted through the first surface portion.

  • Patent number: 8950916
Abstract: Disclosed is a vehicle light fitting unit that can include a plurality of light sources, a reflecting plane which diffusely reflects light emitted from the plurality of light sources, and a lens which emits the light, which is diffusely reflected by the reflecting plane, to a front direction. The plurality of light sources can each be provided so that a pitch between one light source and another light source adjacent to the one light source is shorter than a light path length from the one light source to the lens passing through the reflecting plane.

  • Patent number: 8870425
Abstract: In a lamp body, a second reflective surface, which reflects light reflected from a first reflective surface to a front side again so as to emit the light toward the front side, is formed on a back surface of a lens main body; fixing portions protrude outward from an outer peripheral portion of the lens main body and are fixed to a seating section; the first reflective surface is formed in a shape of a band which extends in one direction and of which both end portions reach the outer peripheral portion of the lens main body; constricted portions, which are recessed inward, are formed at the outer peripheral portion of the lens main body near at least one of the both end portions of the first reflective surface; and the fixing portions are disposed in the constricted portions.
