  • Patent number: 11931700
Abstract: A substrate for a liquid filter contains a polyolefin microporous membrane. A mean flow pore size dPP in a pore size distribution of the polyolefin microporous membrane measured by a half dry method according to gas-liquid phase substitution is from 1 nm to 20 nm. A mean flow pore size dLLP in a pore size distribution of the polyolefin microporous membrane measured by a half dry method according to liquid-liquid phase substitution is from 1 nm to 15 nm. A difference (dPP?dLLP) between the mean flow pore size dPP and the mean flow pore size dLLP is 12 nm or less, and a thickness of the polyolefin microporous membrane is from 4 to 25 ?m.

  • Publication number: 20110000759
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a banknote identification apparatus capable of reducing the load of a motor for driving a press member. When an amount of stored banknotes becomes larger than a predetermined amount, a banknote support plate moved to a predetermined position by reciprocal movement of a press plate is detected by an on/off operation of a detection switch, when a detected number thereof becomes larger than a predetermined number, banknotes are regulated not to be inserted. Therefore, it becomes possible to reduce the load of the motor of a press unit compared with the conventional apparatus which detects banknotes fully stored by an output load of the motor. Hence, it becomes possible to effectively prevent the motor from causing trouble and prevent its lifetime being shortened.

  • Patent number: 7216014
Abstract: The invention provides a paper money discriminating device which is simplified in structure and can be manufactured less expensively and therefore can contribute to cost reduction and productivity improvement. Thus, a first detecting member and a second detecting member are released from contact with each other, the second detecting member performs a prescribed action and the action of the second detecting member is detected by a detector when a paper money accommodating unit is taken off a discriminating device body, when an openable member is opened, or when paper money accommodated in the paper money accommodating unit has reached or surpassed a prescribed quantity, a state in which the paper money accommodating unit is taken off, a state in which the openable member is opened and a state in which paper money accommodated in the paper money accommodating unit has reached or surpassed the prescribed quantity can be detected by a single detector.

  • Patent number: 6786101
Abstract: This invention has as its object to facilitate determination of a weld strength of welded target members when a plurality of metal members are welded. In order to achieve this object, when a plurality of metal members are welded, a weld strength of the welded target members is determined on the basis of the state of a lower bead.

  • Patent number: 6540225
Abstract: To provide a storing device for paper sheets capable of increasing the number of banknotes that can be stored without increasing the dimension in a back and forth direction of a device main body. A second plate is moved in a direction substantially perpendicular to a face of a paper sheet by moving other ends of arms substantially parallel to the second plate, and thus drive force of a drive means is applied to the other ends of the arms, thereby moving the other ends of the arms substantially parallel to the second plate. Consequently, a space in the direction substantially perpendicular to the face, which is required for the arm movement, can be reduced as compared with the case in which the center part of the arm is driven.

  • Publication number: 20010005708
Abstract: The object of this invention is to provide a cylindrical member welding method that can weld a cylindrical member without causing cracking. In order to achieve this object, in a cylindrical member welding method of welding, to an end portion of a cylindrical first member containing aluminum as a major component, a cylindrical or disk-like second member having substantially the same outer diameter as that of the first member and containing aluminum as a major component, a space is formed on a slightly inner side of an outer circumferential surface of a welded portion of the first and second members.

  • Patent number: 6175708
Abstract: To prevent formation of a white streaking line on an image by a blade member for a developing unit in an image forming apparatus, a blade member is formed by welding magnetic and nonmagnetic members to each other by laser irradiation. The laser beam is pulsed so that the laser beam irradiating a welding portion is in-focus or out-of-focus.

  • Patent number: 5007383
Abstract: In a water-cooling system for a water-cooled horizontal engine, a radiator and a radiator fan are arranged at the front of a cylinder head which is mounted forwardly of a cylinder block of the engine. A radiator fan generates a cooling air flow which passes through the space over the cylinder head and toward the radiator, the height of the radiator being sized to match the width of the cylinder block measured in the upward and downward direction.

  • Patent number: 4907546
Abstract: In an air-cooled type cooling system for an engine working machine assembly in which a working machine such as a generator, a compressor and the like is adapted to be driven by an internal combustion engine, there are provided an air-cooled engine, a working machine and an exhaust muffler in a machine area as well as a centrifugal cooling fan in a fan room within a casing. An exhaust air outlet passage and an exhaust air conduction passage are provided in such a manner as to come out in parallel from the periphery of the fan area. Part of the cooling air sucked into the fan area after cooling the engine and the working machine in the machine area is adapted to be discharged directly outside the casing through the exhaust air outlet passage, and the remaining part thereof is adapted to be discharged outside the casing through the exhaust air conduction passage after cooling the exhaust muffler.
