  • Publication number: 20100014989
Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide a pump jack pump-off control method and a pump jack control apparatus in which, even when the speed of a pump jack is reduced due to generation of a pump-off condition, the pump jack is not caused to stop due to the motor overload abnormality or the coagulated crude oil and, even when the pump-off condition is generated, the reduction of the production capacity of the pump jack can be prevented as much as possible. On detecting the pump-off condition, while the pump jack is in operation with the speed thereof being reduced, or while the pump jack is in operation at the lowest speed, according to the overload warning signal of an ac electric motor, the pump jack is switched over to its intermittent operation.

  • Patent number: 7597375
Abstract: A double folding mechanism of a seat of a vehicle can fold a seat cushion from a space on a floor and fold a seat back into the space, thereby changing the seat from its use condition to its retracted condition. The double folding mechanism can include a first connecting mechanism connecting the seat cushion and the floor and a second connecting mechanism connecting the seat back and the floor. The second connecting mechanism can control the rotational speed of the seat back such that the seat back can enter inside a rotational trajectory of a rear end of the seat cushion after the seat cushion comes out of a rotational trajectory of an upper end portion of the seat back. The double folding mechanism can change the seat from the use condition to the retracted condition in one operation.

  • Patent number: 7589478
Abstract: An inverter circuit for discharge lamps for multi-lamp lighting in which the value of a negative resistance characteristic of a fluorescent lamp is controlled, and an excessively set reactance is eliminated by causing a shunt transformer to have a reactance exceeding the negative resistance characteristic. Two coils connected to a secondary winding of a step-up transformer of the inverter circuit are arranged and magnetically coupled to each other to form a shunt transformer for shunting current such that magnetic fluxes generated thereby cancel each other out. Discharge lamps are connected to the coils, respectively, with currents flowing therethrough being balanced. Each discharge lamp is lighted because a reactance of an inductance related to the balancing operation which is in an operating frequency of the inverter circuit, exceeds a negative resistance of the discharge lamps.

  • Publication number: 20040155596
Abstract: An inverter circuit for discharge lamps for multi-lamp lighting in which the value of a negative resistance characteristic of a fluorescent lamp is controlled, and an excessively set reactance is eliminated by causing a shunt transformer to have a reactance exceeding the negative resistance characteristic, whereby shunting characteristics high in performance are obtained while reducing the size of the circuit. In an inverter circuit for discharge lamps for multi-lamp lighting, two coils connected to a secondary winding of a step-up transformer of the inverter circuit are arranged and magnetically coupled to each other to form a shunt transformer for shunting current such that magnetic fluxes generated thereby are opposed to each other to cancel out. • Patent number: 6599095
Abstract: A pump off control method comprises detecting the speed of the induction motor and an instantaneous value of secondary current of the induction motor. Down stroke time in every cycle of the pump jack is detected. An average value of instantaneous values of the secondary current of the induction motor in the down stroke time in said every cycle is calculated. An average value reference of the secondary current of the induction motor to be compared with calculated average value of the instantaneous values of the secondary current of the induction motor is set. The calculated average value of the instantaneous values of the secondary current is compared with the average value reference after the down stroke end in each cycle. An occurence of pump off is detected if the calculated average value of the instantaneous values is greater than the average value reference.

  • Patent number: 5818281
Abstract: For a semiconductor circuit having one or more semiconductor devices, such as an IGBT, a turn-ON prevention circuit is provided for each device which prevents the device from turning ON during OFF times thereof, due to the presence of a transient voltage (dV/dt) across the main terminals of the device. In accordance with such a scheme, a MOSFET is connected between the insulated-gate electrode and emitter of the IGBT, and a capacitor, for example, is connected between the gate of the MOSFET and a sufficient electric potential to thereby effect a temporary turn-ON of the MOSFET to remove parasitic charge build-up in the IGBT before such charge build-up has reached a potential of the turn-ON threshold of the IGBT during OFF times of the IGBT. The capacitance element can be constituted by a MOSFET, namely, the capacitance across the gate-to-drain of an additional MOSFET.

  • Patent number: 5716908
Abstract: A process for controlling crystalline orientation of an oxide superconductive film includes a first-heat-treatment step, and a second-heat-treatment step. In the first-heat-treatment step, an oxide superconductive film is heated and held in non-oxidizing atmosphere. Accordingly, partial oxygen deficiency is caused in the oxide superconductive film. In the second-heat-treatment step, the oxide superconductive film is heated and held in oxygen-rich atmosphere. Consequently, oxygen is re-introduced into the oxide superconductive film. Thus, crystalline orientation of the oxide superconductive film is altered. The process enables to readily form not only an "a"-axis-oriented oxide superconductive film but also a "b"-axis-oriented oxide superconductive film.
