  • Patent number: 6841959
Abstract: In a motor rotation rate detecting circuit incorporating a conventional differentiating circuit, raising the upper limit of the differentiating operation frequency of the differentiating circuit to cope with an increased range of the motor rotation rate causes the differentiating circuit to amplify high-frequency noise when the motor is rotating at a low rate. To solve this problem, a motor rotation rate detecting circuit embodying the invention incorporates a differentiating circuit that produces a rotation rate detection signal by differentiating a plurality of alternating signals having different phases that are output according to the rotation position of the motor, and the frequency response of the differentiating operation of the differentiating circuit is switchable according to the voltage of the rotation rate detection signal.

  • Publication number: 20040061250
Abstract: Fluid pressure of a first fluid chamber of a driving means, which acts as a back pressure, is monitored by a monitoring means when a core pin is driven by the driving means in an inserting direction before injection of a molten material into a cavity of a die arrangement. When the monitored fluid pressure of the first fluid chamber exhibits abnormal behavior that is different from normal behavior observed during a normal period, the monitoring means controls the driving means to stop the driving of the core pin in the inserting direction.

  • Patent number: 6615902
Abstract: A die casting machine includes vacuum tank 26 and vacuum pump 27 that together evacuate the inside of a mold cavity 40 to a first degree of vacuum, and vacuum tank 21 and vacuum pump 22 that together evacuate the cavity to a second degree of vacuum higher than the first degree of vacuum. The cavity 40 is connected to vacuum tanks 21 and 26 for evacuating the cavity 40 through an evacuation passage 17. When solenoid valves 19 and 24 open and the cavity is evacuated, a powder mold releasing agent is supplied by a powder feeding apparatus 30 into the cavity 40. Filters 20 and 25 each having a filter diameter smaller than a mean grain diameter of the powder mold releasing agent are interposed between the solenoid valves 19, 24 and the vacuum tanks 21, 26, respectively. When the vacuum tanks 21 and 26 evacuate the cavity 40, filters 20 and 25 capture the major proportion of the powder mold releasing agent, and the occurrence of trouble in the vacuum tanks, etc, can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 4156532
Abstract: A sealing device to be applied between a piston and a cylinder of a disk brake on an automobile. The sealing device comprises an annular seal groove provided in the inner surface of the cylinder and a seal ring inserted in the seal groove, the seal groove having a beveled wall between its front and bottom walls, the seal ring having a beveled surface provided between its front and outer surfaces and engageable with the beveled wall of the seal groove, the seal ring being compressed into the seal groove by the piston with a space between the front surface of the seal ring and the front wall of the seal groove. When the piston of the disk brake is activated hydraulically, the seal ring is elastically deformed with the movement of the piston to build up elastic energy. When the piston is set free from the hydraulic pressure, the piston returns easily to its original position by means of the elastic energy built up in the seal ring.
