  • Publication number: 20040063349
Abstract: A through hole (13) is formed on a engagement part (11) of a connector housing (14), and an installation part (32) whose distal end (32b) projects on an end (14a) of the connector housing (14) through this through hole (13) is formed on a sealing member (30). When the through hole (13) is sealed by a mold part (40) that is formed on the end (14a) side of the connector housing (14), the installation part (32) is also sealed, and the sealing member (30) is fastened to the connector housing (14).

  • Patent number: 6623288
Abstract: The present invention provides such a structure that a male-type terminal which in inserted to a female-type terminal to come in contact therewith comprises a resistor on at least a tip portion of a resistor and that at the time of insertion to the female-type terminal, a switching is made from the resistor to the conductor portion and, at the time of detachment from the female-type terminal, switching is made from the conductor portion to the resistor.

  • Patent number: 6616468
Abstract: A connector comprises a male-type connector having a male-type housing and a male-type terminal housed therein, and a female-type connector having a female-type housing and a female-type terminal housed therein. A pair of permanent magnets is attached to both sides of the inner surface of the male-type housing so as to sandwich the top end portion of the male-type terminal. Due to the magnetic field of the permanent magnets, the arc is diffracted and extended by Lorentz force. Therefore, melting, melting of the terminal portion and occurrence of an automobile fire owing to discharge are prevented.

  • Publication number: 20030114032
Abstract: A connector includes a first connector having a first connector housing which supports plural first connection terminals in its inside and a second connector having a second connector housing which supports plural second connection terminals connected to the plural first connection terminals in its inside. At least one magnetic member disposed in the first connector housing or second connector housing. The magnetic member is disposed to be held between leading ends of the plural first connection terminals or between leading ends of the plural second connection terminals, and a magnetic field is generated in a direction orthogonal to a direction in which the both first and second connection terminals are inserted during a period of time from complete engagement of the first and second members to complete disengagement thereof, or a period of time from complete disengagement of the first and second connectors to complete engagement thereof.
