  • Patent number: 7331609
Abstract: A lock releasing button is provided at a slide plate including a slip joint for slidably supporting a webbing for restraining an occupant to a seat. Locking of the slide plate to a center pillar is arranged to be released when the lock releasing button is pressed upward from below. Therefore, when an airbag presses to open a connecting portion between a roof lining and a pillar garnish and deploys downward at a time of collision of a vehicle, the lock releasing button is prevented from releasing the locking by being pressed by the airbag deploying downward. This prevents the situation in which the slip joint is moved downward together with the slide plate to loosen the webbing and thus a seat belt device cannot sufficiently exhibit an occupant restraining performance.

  • Publication number: 20080006443
Abstract: A magnetic shielding door (10) opens and closes a gate (16) of a magnetic shielding room. Magnetic members (15) made of a magnetic material are aligned at intervals on walls of the magnetic shielding room. Magnetic shielding forming members (27) are disposed to correspond to the respective magnetic members (15) and are made of a magnetic body that forms a magnetic shielding in corporation with the magnetic members (15). A movable mechanism (28) moves the magnetic shielding forming members (27) at the door closing position at which the gate (16) is closed. The movable mechanism (28) moves the magnetic shielding forming members (27) between a join position at which the magnetic members (15) and the corresponding magnetic shielding forming members (27) are joined to each other and a spaced-apart position at which the magnetic members (15) and the corresponding magnetic shielding forming members (27) are spaced apart.

  • Patent number: 7306531
Abstract: An electric derailleur has a motor unit having a derailleur motor with an output shaft, a position control mechanism and a controller. The output shaft is rotated through a moveable range including a first derailleur shift position and a second derailleur shift position. The position control mechanism is configured and arranged to provide a position signal indicative of an angular position of the output shaft. The controller detects a predetermined lockup position of the derailleur motor occurring at one of the first and second derailleur shift positions. The controller also sets a predetermined stop position for the derailleur motor that is calculated distance prior to the lockup position based on the position signal of the position control mechanism. Thus, the derailleur motor can be calibrated such that a new stop position is set that prevents an overcurrent from occurring in the motor.

  • Publication number: 20070273186
Abstract: An impact absorbing plate 31 is disposed between a front part 31z of the impact absorbing plate 31 and a vehicle body 11 so that a rupture generating part 44 ruptured by impact is extended in the front and rear direction of the vehicle, and the impact absorbing plate 31 is fixed to a front part 13a and a rear part 13b of the front seat bracket 13 provided in the vehicle body by rivets 33 and 33. A portion of front part 31z of the impact absorbing plate 31 is cut to form a cutoff part 45, and a front end 17a of a rail 17 provided in a seat section is attached to a convex part 35, which is molded so as to expand upward an inner side of the cutoff part 45, by a rivet 34.

  • Patent number: 7290779
Abstract: A bicycle shift control apparatus comprises a threshold value setting unit that sets a threshold value of a running condition for shifting a bicycle transmission, a decision unit that decides if a current running condition value passes the threshold value, and a tentative shift unit that sets a tentative shift of the bicycle transmission when the decision unit decides that the current running condition value passes the threshold value. A canceling unit cancels the tentative shift if the decision unit decides that the current running condition value varies from a previous running condition value by a determined value.

  • Publication number: 20070233423
Abstract: Supply and interruption of power source to the first angle sensor 2 and the second angle sensor 4 are alternately performed, by comparing the signal Vo1 or Vo2 which is outputted from the first angle sensor 2 or the second angle sensor 4 and amplified by the first signal amplifier 3 or the second signal amplifier 5 with the signal Vo1 or the signal Vo2 in a state where the abnormality such as the short-circuit does not occur between the wires, the determination is made as to whether or not the abnormality such as the short-circuit is present between the wires. The calculating section 6 can quickly detect abnormality such as the short-circuit simply by supplying the power source to the first angle sensor 2 or the second angle sensor 4. In consequence, the abnormality of the rotational angle detecting device 1 can be detected before the steering wheel connected to the vehicular steering shaft is operated.

  • Patent number: 7198300
Abstract: An actuator for an adjustable seat belt D-ring anchor is provided that is easily reached by a vehicle operator while in a seated position and that blends in with the interior of the vehicle. The actuator includes a slider garnish that in turn supports a button garnish. Upon pressing the button garnish, a lever on the button garnish actuates a button assembly on a vehicle that in turn releases a locking pin on the anchor, allowing the anchor to be moved.

  • Publication number: 20060006709
Abstract: When a pressure receiving plate provided at a seat back moves to a rear side of a vehicle body when a vehicle is collided from behind, a Bowden cable transmits movement of the pressure receiving plate to a headrest ascending mechanism as a tensile load, thereby quickly ascending a headrest to reliably hold a head of an occupant. The Bowden cable transmits only the tensile load, and hence the Bowden cable is not buckled. Reduction in weight is made possible as compared with the case using a rod for transmitting a compression load. Since the Bowden cable is light, it is not required to unreasonably place the pressure receiving plate at a position near the headrest ascending mechanism for reduction in weight, and hence the pressure receiving plate can be placed at the optimal position where a sufficient driving force is obtained at the time of collision. Thus, a headrest is ascended with favorable responsiveness upon a rear-end collision of a vehicle while using a thin transmission member with low rigidity.

  • Publication number: 20050057081
Abstract: A seat is disclosed for use in a vehicle. The seat includes a pivotable seat cushion, a pivotable seatback, and a pivotable headrest. A rearward portion of the seat cushion is pivotably attached to the floor of the vehicle by an anchor member. A forward portion of the seat cushion is pivotably coupled to a forward support leg that contacts the floor of the vehicle when the seat cushion is retained in a generally horizontal position. The forward support leg automatically retracts to a position proximate the seat cushion when the seat cushion is released and pivoted upwardly to a generally vertical stowed position proximate the seatback. The seatback is pivotably attached to the anchor member and may be downwardly pivoted to a generally horizontal stowed position proximate the seat cushion. The headrest may be pivotally attached to the seatback, and may be movable to a stowed position.
