  • Patent number: 6101007
Abstract: A screen hologram image is reproduced on or near a plane of a hologram plate. A dynamic image is displayed at a position crossing an optical path of light beam for illumination to view a dynamic image on the screen hologram image. By using a plurality of apparatuses having the above-mentioned structure, planes of hologram plates are put without overlapping or with partial or overall lapping so that planes of master hologram images are arranged at different or the same positions in space. Thus, a dynamic image is displayed for right and left eyes for stereovision. Color display is possible. Further, an image is displayed in correspondence to a change in visual point in vertical direction or in depth direction. Thus, in an image display apparatus, a dynamic image is viewed for each of the eyes by using a hologram.

  • Patent number: 5151694
Abstract: A paging receiver comprises an ID memory storing an ID number assigned to the receiver. If the ID number stored in the ID memory is coincident with an ID number stored in an ID card which is to be attached to the receiver, a received or stored message is displayed. If they are not coincident with each other, the received or stored message is prevented from being displayed. Thus, unauthorized access to the message can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 5151680
Abstract: A speaker driver is operated by a battery and drives a speaker to generate an alert tone in response to an externally input intermittent signal. The speaker driver includes a reference voltage generator for generating a reference voltage, a transconductance amplifier for outputting a current corresponding to a differential voltage between a voltage of the battery and the reference voltage, an output control switch for ON/OFF-controlling the output current from the transconductance amplifier in accordance with the intermittent signal, and a DC amplifier for amplifying the ON/OFF-controlled output current as a driving current for the speaker. Since a speaker driving current is decreased as a power source voltage is dropped, an abnormal voltage drop during an alert generation period can be prevented, thereby prolonging the service life of a battery.

  • Patent number: 4992114
Abstract: The present invention provides a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet having a thickness of up to 0.17 mm and excellent product magnetic characteristics. The present invention is characterized in that a silicon containing acid-soluble Al, N and Sn is used as the starting material, the N and acid-soluble Al contents in the slab are adjusted to 0.0050 to 0.0100% and {(27/14).times.N (%)+0.0035} to {(27/14).times.N (%)+0.0100}%, respectively, the thickness of the hot-rolled sheet is adjusted so that the thickness reduction ratio at the one-stage cold-rolling is 85 to 92%, and the Nas AlN content in the hot-rolled steel sheet is controlled to 0.0005 to 0.0020%.

  • Patent number: 4918438
Abstract: A paging receiver which includes a conventional receiver circuit for receiving a paging signal, having a page number that identifies the intended recipient, a memory for storing a unique page number which is assigned to that particular receiver and a decorder for comparing the page number included in the received paging signal with the page number which is stored in the memory. If the stored and received page numbers coincide, detection pulse is produced that starts a first and a second timer. The first timer produces a mode switch pulse following the lapse of a first predetermined period of time. The second timer which has a period longer than first period of time, generates an auto-reset pulse upon lapse of its period. The mode switch pulse and the auto-reset pulse are sent to an annunciation mode switch having an output for driving both a tactile annunciator and an audible annunciator. The detection pulse causes the annunciator mode switch to energize one of the tactile and audible annunciators.

  • Patent number: 4625212
Abstract: An antenna having an antenna aperture area and an antenna reactance comprises a first antenna element (31) defining a first aperture area and a first reactance and a second antenna element (32) connected in parallel to the first antenna element to put a miniature radio receiver into operation in a desired frequency band. The second antenna element has a second aperture area and a second reactance greater than the first aperture area and reactance, respectively, so that the antenna aperture area and reactance are substantially determined by the second aperture area and the first reactance, respectively. The first and the second aperture areas may be coplanar. Alternatively, the aperture areas may be orthogonal to each other.

  • Patent number: 4352091
Abstract: A radio paging receiver uses a receiver section for receiving and demodulating paging signals. A decoder section decodes the paging signals and a tone is generated in response thereto. When the center of slide switch is in normal position, the tone signals are rectified by a diode and applied to a speaker in order to generate subscriber alert tones. When the center of slide switch is in vibration position, the speaker does not generate any audible tones while a rectifier-integrator section is turned on to rectify and integrate the tone signals. The rectified and integrated tone signals activate a mechanical vibrator to tactilely inform the subscriber that he is being paged. The decoder section has a common output terminal for both the audible alert and the tactile vibration alert.
