Patent number: 10878517Abstract: An analytics interface is provided for a content creation tool. Based on input to the analytics interface, first and second media content items are selected, where certain content is shared between the media content items. The system modifies first and second media content items to comply with formatting constraints of first and second social media services, respectively. The system associates, via a mapping, the first and second media content items with a group and publishes the first and second media content items to the first and second social media services, respectively. The system uses the mapping to match the group with first and second analytics respectively received from the first and second social media services about the first and second media content items. The system updates the analytics interface with visual representations of grouped analytics, which are generated based on matching the group with the first second analytics.Type: GrantFiled: July 13, 2017Date of Patent: December 29, 2020Assignee: ADOBE INC.Inventors: Ramesh P B, Meagan Keane, Manish Prasad, Laura Williams Argilla, Komal Kumar Desai, Bronwyn Lewis

Publication number: 20180046361Abstract: Fitting content to a resized frame is described. In one or more embodiments, input is received to resize a frame that defines a boundary for a content item in a layout of content. For example, a user grabs a handle of the frame and drags the handle horizontally or vertically to resize the frame. In so doing, the aspect ratio of the frame is changed. A content fitting module fits the content item to the frame so that when the content item is displayed, the content item does not appear distorted and is contained within the frame. To do so, the content fitting module proportionally scales the content item based on an amount the frame is resized, repositions the content item to align a center of the content item with a center of the resized frame, and crops the scaled and repositioned content item according to the resized frame.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2016Publication date: February 15, 2018Applicant: Adobe Systems IncorporatedInventors: Abhishek Shah, Sameer Bhatt, Sagar Tandon, Komal Kumar Desai

Patent number: 9767541Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for a computing device that receives input, from a user, selecting an area of a displayed image, where the area includes the blemish sought to be corrected by the user. The computing device identifies a spot pattern of the blemish to be corrected within the area and a context pattern of the displayed image. The computing device corrects the spot pattern of the blemish within the displayed image. The computing device identifies related images that have context patterns similar to the context pattern of the displayed image. The computing device automatically corrects similar instances of the spot pattern appearing within the related images.Type: GrantFiled: November 8, 2016Date of Patent: September 19, 2017Assignee: Adobe Systems IncorporatedInventors: Anand Samuel Edwin, Komal Kumar Desai

Patent number: 9478006Abstract: Content aware cropping techniques are described in which a combined crop and fill operation may be performed in one-step using an automated workflow. In one or more implementations, an image is exposed for editing in a user interface and input is obtained that indicates a position for a crop frame to select a portion of the image. The crop frame may be employed as a basis for a combined crop and fill operation that is initiated by a single input or trigger that causes a sequence of actions to automatically crop the image, recognize portions of empty pixels to fill, apply a content aware fill algorithm, and produce a resulting output image. In one or more implementations, a size of the crop frame may be controlled to maintain at least one of image size, aspect ratio, or pixel resolution.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 2014Date of Patent: October 25, 2016Assignee: Adobe Systems IncorporatedInventors: Anand Samuel Edwin, Komal Kumar Desai, Charan Raj

Patent number: 9202299Abstract: Hint-based spot healing techniques are described. In one or more implementations, techniques are described in which a user may provide input as a hint used to automatically determine features in an image to process for application of a selected image editing operation. The user may select a feature in an image exposed for editing using touch input or another input technique. The image is then processed based on the hint to identify additional features that match a spot pattern of the user selected feature. A visual representation of feature set that includes the selected feature and the additional features is presented and an option to designate (e.g., de-select or select) features on an individual basis is provided to refine the feature set. The image editing operation is then applied to the designated features in the feature set.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2013Date of Patent: December 1, 2015Assignee: Adobe Systems IncorporatedInventors: Anand Samuel Edwin, Komal Kumar Desai
