  • Publication number: 20110315402
Abstract: Method of the subject disclosure can be used in the oil and gas production industry, in particular, for plugging fractures in the near-wellbore zone during the fracturing fluid removal, as well as for plugging different kinds of fractures and branches in the casing. For formation of an isolating-plug, a catch is placed upstream of the point where the isolating plug shall be formed, so as to prevent the passing of fibers and to promote the forming of fiber aggregates. A fluid containing dispersed fibers is then injected into a well, and the catch is periodically opened to release the fiber aggregates and to allow their free flow to the location where the plug shall be formed.

  • Publication number: 20110100625
Abstract: The invention relates to methods for isolating near-wellbore zones and fractures and can be used for plugging fractures in the near-wellbore zone during the removal of the fracturing fluid, as well as for plugging different kinds of fractures and branches in the casing. The method for forming an isolating-plug includes the injection of a slurry containing dispersed fibers into a well and subsequent formation of a plug to isolate the relevant section of the well and to prevent the fluid penetration. The slurry is admixed with amphiphilic substances, and the fibers used are capable of adsorbing the amphiphilic substances on their surface.

  • Patent number: 7789141
Abstract: The current invention provides an improved method of increasing well yield and enhancing oil production. The method comprises the steps of lowering a vibroacoustic downhole emitter into a well down to a production layer depth and performing acoustic impact on the formation. The impact is implemented by a multiple frequency signal containing at least two simple harmonic components whose frequencies and amplitudes meet the resonance overlapping condition.
