  • Patent number: 6986822
Abstract: In a method for producing a foam element, especially a foam padding element for a plane or vehicle seat, a layer is applied to at least one shaping wall section of a foaming mold. The layer is of a material that forms a barrier layer between the foam material and the respective wall section during the foaming process. A fleece with a ferromagnetic coating is used as the layer forming the barrier layer. The fleece is releasably held in its position at the wall section by a device that produces a ferromagnetic field and interacts with the ferromagnetic coating.

  • Publication number: 20050268439
Abstract: The invention relates to a planar adhesive closure piece for an adhesive closure, whereby the corresponding detachable closure elements (18) may be brought into engagement, comprising a base material (14) with warp threads (10) and weft threads (12) and at least one functional thread (16), which partly engages with the base material (14) and which forms the sealing elements (18). A planar adhesive closure piece may be produced more economically, whereby either the warp threads (12) and/or the weft threads (10) are embodied to run with a wave or curve like form. The closure nevertheless has higher adhesive values than closure elements produced with conventional weaving techniques have for the closure elements thereof.

  • Publication number: 20040134045
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a touch-and-close fastener element (16) comprising a multitude of hook means (26), which are provided with a support as one piece and in the shape of stems (28) with hook heads (30) located at the ends thereof. Each of the hook heads (30) is provided, at least in part, with an additional head part (36) made of an additional material. A touch-and-close fastener system is created in which the respective head part (36) is made from the duroplastic molding compound serving as the additional material. One the one hand, the touch-and-close fastener system can withstand high temperature and mechanical stresses and, on the other hand, leads to improved adhesion values and peel strength values in a corresponding embodiment.

  • Patent number: 6733860
Abstract: The invention relates to an adhesive closing part, especially for foaming upholstery parts of car seats during production of the latter, comprising adhesive elements (10) arranged on one side for connection to corresponding adhesive elements of another adhesive closing part by forming an adhesive closure and connecting elements on the other side of the adhesive closing part for producing a connection to the corresponding foam material. A reliable and high-strength connection to the foam material is achieved due to the fact that the connecting elements consist of an adhesive medium, especially a fluorine gas, applied at least on the other side of the adhesive closing part.

  • Publication number: 20030099811
Abstract: The invention relates to a fastener part, especially for use in a foaming production method, comprising a support strip (10) on which hook elements (12) are located, and a cover strip (20) which covers said support strip (10) on the side facing away from the hook elements (12) and which is wider than the support strip (10), so that free lateral edge areas (21) of the cover strip (20) extend beyond the associated longitudinal edges (33) of the support strip (10) on both sides. The two free lateral edge areas (21) of the cover strip (20) are folded over on themselves in the direction of the support strip (10), along a folding line (29) extending in the longitudinal direction, so that the end edges (31) of the free lateral edge areas (21) of the cover strip are turned towards the longitudinal edges (33) of the support strip (10). The folding line (29) forms a kind of sealing lip which has at least one sealing surface which functions outwardly in the direction of the respective foam and which is closed in itself.

  • Patent number: 6569374
Abstract: A method produces an adhesive closing component having a carrier with a plurality of interlocking means on one of its two sides. An adhesive is applied to the opposite side. A silicone-containing separation layer is at least partially applied on the side of the carrier provided with the interlocking means. The interlocking means are formed from stems provided with enlargements on the ends. The silicone-containing separation layer is applied in the cavities of the enlargements in a reinforcing manner. The enlargements form individual interlocking heads. The stems are essentially kept free from the silicone-containing separation layer. An adhesive closing component with adhesive means is improved such that the component can be produced cost-effectively and efficiently. Handling is simplified, and pulling-off characteristics are improved.

  • Patent number: 6537643
Abstract: In an adhering closure element with a carrier strip (10) with meshing parts (12) arranged on it, and with a cover strip (20) covering the carrier strip (10) on the side turned away from the meshing parts (12), which is wider than the carrier strip (10), the two free side edge areas (21) of the cover strip (20) are folded over themselves, in the direction of the carrier strip (10) along a fold line (29), which runs in the longitudinal direction, so that the end edges (31) of the free side edge areas (21) of the cover strip (20) face the longitudinal edges (33) of the carrier strip (10).

  • Patent number: 6468371
Abstract: A method for the production of a molded part, particularly of a shell part for a motor vehicle or aircraft passenger seat, uses plastic material and a mold acted upon with a working pressure. A receiving part receives an adhering part being molded to the molded part, and is embedded with adhering elements found on a support. The adhering part is supported against the effect of the working pressure generated during the molding process by a barbed hook surface arranged in the receiving part. The hooked surface is formed by a plurality of projecting barbed hooks, engaged in the intermediate spaces between the adhering elements of the adhering part such that the support is placed on the points of the barbed hooks.
