  • Patent number: 11933376
Abstract: A disk brake for a motor vehicle includes an internally ventilated brake disk, a brake disk nave, and radially directed bores. In the radially directed first bores the connecting means are introduced such that they extend further into radially directed second bores in the friction ring into the friction ring. The brake disk nave forms the fit with a single friction ring half and this fit has material convexities, which point inward toward the cooling channels or the ribs, at the points at which the second bores are introduced for the connecting means.

  • Patent number: 10794440
Abstract: An internally ventilated brake disk for a disk brake, includes two friction disks, which are arranged adjacent to each other and which are connected to each other by radially extending, regularly arranged webs. The webs extend from an outer peripheral edge to an inner peripheral edge of the friction disks and the friction disks are connected by the webs in such a way that intermediate spaces thereof form cooling channels of equal size, through which cooling air can flow and which are divided by further, shorter webs in such a way that at least one shorter web is located centrally between the webs in a radial region closer to the inner peripheral edge of the friction disks. Outward from the shorter web in the radial direction, the cooling channels are divided into at least three flow channels in that, in each cooling channel, two first further shorter webs are arranged at an offset to each shorter web radially outwardly and in the peripheral direction.

  • Patent number: 9677630
Abstract: A brake disk chamber has an essentially cylindrical brake disk chamber jacket without openings. The brake disk chamber jacket is formed of segments in the shape of curved symmetrical trapezoids, which are lined up in a row in the circumferential direction, are alternately rotated by 180°, and are arranged in a regular fashion with an alternately differing radial distance from the longitudinal center axis of the brake disk chamber jacket.

  • Patent number: 9249848
Abstract: A brake disk for a disk brake includes a brake disk chamber and a friction ring fastened thereto. By way of particularly six to twelve centering and/or fastening extensions directed inward from an inner diameter of the friction ring, the friction ring is placed in the axial direction on the face side on centering attachments of the brake disk chamber, and is fixed on the brake disk chamber by way of fastening devices, particularly screws and/or rivets that extend in the axial direction. The centering attachments of the brake disk chamber are recesses in the brake disk chamber edge or in the brake disk chamber edge and in the brake disk chamber jacket, one centering and/or fastening extension of the friction ring respectively projecting into them.

  • Patent number: 9086107
Abstract: An internally ventilated brake disc includes at least two friction rings, which are held apart from each other by ribs, and air blades, which are fastened to the brake disc and which extend essentially from the inner circumference of a friction ring in the radial direction by a defined amount in the direction of the axis of rotation of the brake disc. The air blades function to deliver a cooling air flow through the space between the friction rings when the brake disc is rotating. The air blades are formed by one or more sheet metal part(s) that is or are connected to at least some of the ribs. This connection can be by material bonding or can be shape locking or force locking. The air blades are machined out of a sheet metal ring and, thus, form an integral sheet metal part, wherein the sheet metal ring is provided with a plurality of clamps or clips for a shape-locking connection to the ribs and is not formed so as to be closed.

  • Patent number: 8955651
Abstract: A brake disc for a vehicle disc brake has a friction ring supported by a brake disc chamber made of a specifically light material and having a central flat hub section perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the brake disc and a support wall section connected thereto. The support wall section extends radially outward and in some regions has a truncated circular cone shape, with whose free edge region the friction ring is connected via connection elements. The ratio of the height of the friction ring to the diameter of the brake disc is less than 0.12, and the connection between the brake disc chamber and the friction ring is provided with a prestressed support wall section such that the edge region of the brake disc chamber acts in an outwardly pressing manner upon the unheated friction ring directly or indirectly by way of the connection elements.
