  • Patent number: 7707211
Abstract: To obtain information having a relation, it is required for an application program to execute retrieval processing in which the program first acquires key information supervising relations between tables to sequentially trace the relations to finally obtain the target information. Since it is required for the program to execute as many access operations as there are hierarchic level of relations, the access efficiency is lowered. By establishing a correspondence between first relating information representing relations between a first table and a second table and second relating information, path information representing hierarchic structure of data between a plurality of tables is stored in a storage. Various processings are executed by use of the path information.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 9, 2006
Date of Patent: April 27, 2010
Assignees: Hitachi, Ltd., Hitachi Chemical Co., Ltd.
Inventors: Munetatsu Fukuda, Koshichiro Mitsukuni, Naoki Takahashi, Kazuki Kojima, Shinichi Kirikoshi, Eisuke Nishitsu, Minoru Oshino, Akira Nishimura

  • Patent number: 7065741
Abstract: The service function and information design process is automated in order to shorten the design process period. The same process is based upon the relationships between activities and the information that the activities provide and consume. The relationships are maintained in a predetermined format and are updated by any changes that are affecting the relationships. In addition, the activities are further defined by detailed activities.

  • Publication number: 20030204468
Abstract: Conventional techniques are associated with some problem on stock and goods delivery depending upon a change in demand. Because of this problem, it is necessary to have a large quantity of stock as safety stock. A stock planning server calculates a quantity of necessary stock by using the demand and supply characteristics of goods and the lead time and planning cycle in a distribution route of the goods supplied from a production management server, a transport management server and a sales management server.
