    Abstract: An air conditioner applied to a hybrid vehicle includes a first heat medium circuit, a first heating heat exchanger, a first pump, a first hydraulic pump capacity controller, a second heat medium circuit, a second heating heat exchanger, a second pump, and a second hydraulic pump capacity controller. The first heat medium circuit and the second heat medium circuit are configured to be independent from each other to set a first air conditioning mode, a second air conditioning mode and a third air conditioning mode. When a temperature difference calculated by subtracting a first temperature of the first heat medium from a second temperature of the second heat medium is lower than or equal to a predetermined reference temperature difference during the third air conditioning mode, the first air conditioning mode is set by switching from the third air conditioning mode.
