  • Publication number: 20240109554
Abstract: A control device is configured to perform: performing a first process when an index value indicating a degree of closeness to a risky object which is present in front of a mobile object is less than a first threshold value; performing a second process when the index value is equal to or greater than the first threshold value and less than a second threshold value greater than the first threshold value; and performing a third process and the second process when the index value is equal to or greater than the second threshold value. The third process includes a fourth process of proposing a driving operation for avoiding the risky object to a driver. The fourth process is not performed when the driver has performed an action for reducing or releasing an operation of an operator instructing an accelerating operation for accelerating the mobile object.

  • Patent number: 11154427
Abstract: Medical tape suitable to be adhered onto a skin wound for healing of the skin wound or onto a scar for suppressing a thickening, an expansion and an extension of the scar after healing of the wound. The medical tape includes a flexible and stretchable substrate consisting of a plastic film or foil; a release paper which is adhered to one side of the substrate via a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer; and a peelable support consisting of two sheets of plastic films which are adhered to another side of the substrate via a silicone-coating layer and a slightly adhesive layer, in that order. The two sheets of plastic films are butted with each other at the midpoint of a longitudinal direction of the substrate, and over a widthwise direction of the substrate. The medical tape advantageously applies a shrinking force only to a wound surface or a scar surface.

  • Patent number: 9631176
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for preparing homogeneous stem cells and/or precursor cells in a large amount, in a simple and efficient manner, from human (in particular, the subject per se). The present invention further provides a method for preparing tissue implant or graft in a large amount by the use of the stem cells and/or precursor cells of the present invention. The present inventors have unexpectedly discovered that an aspirate from liposuction contains a large number of stem cells and have established a method for preparing stem cells from such an aspirate from liposuction, and thereby achieved the above-mentioned object.

  • Publication number: 20160279346
Abstract: A drug solution injection needle is provided that can not only inject a drug solution from multiple locations, but also restrict the depth of puncture by injection needles while preventing an observable wheal from being unlikely to form. The drug solution injection needle has multiple injection needles and a needle support for supporting the plurality of injection needles. The needle support has: a needle protruding surface from which the multiple injection needles protrude out; and an abutment fragment, which is formed in the needle protruding surface and abuts the skin to obstruct the multiple injection needles from entering the skin when the multiple injection needles have entered the skin to a predetermined depth. The abutment section is provided away from the injection needles such that an observable wheal is formed around each of the multiple injection needles.

  • Patent number: 6019461
Abstract: An ink cartridge is removably attached to a serial printer. The ink cartridge has a memory device in which information on the ink cartridge is stored. The information may include information such as viscosity, temperature coefficient, the hue and brightness of color ink, various user's settings of density of a printed image and color tone of a printed color image, and identification data indicative of a kind of the ink cartridge. A controller in the printer determines whether the attached cartridge is suitable for use with the printer, by comparing the identification data read from the ink cartridge with the reference data stored in the printer. The information may also include data of a maximum count of dots that the ink cartridge is capable of printing and data of a cumulative count of printed dots that the cartridge has printed.

  • Patent number: 5818487
Abstract: An ink jet printer has a first transporting section adapted to transport a medium on which information is printed. The first transporting section has a first contact area in contact with the medium. A second transporting section is adapted to transport the medium and has a second contact area in contact with the medium. The second contact area is smaller than the first contact area. A selector selectively causes the first and second transporting sections to move into contact engagement with the medium to transport the medium.

  • Patent number: 5798777
Abstract: An ink cassette is used in an ink jet printer and has nozzles through which ink is ejected. The ink cassette has a pair of nozzle levers with a cap formed between their free ends. The cap closes the nozzles when the nozzle levers pivot to a closing position and leaves the nozzles exposed when the levers pivot to an opening position. A carriage unit receives the ink cassette therein and moves between a print area and a non-print area. The carriage unit has supports on which the ink cassette pivots between a first position and a second position. When the ink cassette pivots to the first position, the ink cassette is engaged with a lock lever which holds the ink cassette in position, and the nozzle lever is engaged with lugs formed on the carriage unit which cause the nozzle levers to pivot to the opening position when the ink cassette is moved to the first position.
