  • Patent number: 8907758
Abstract: A small reactor with high heat-release performance is provided. A reactor 1 includes an assembly (10) and a case (4), the assembly (10) having a coil (2) and a magnetic core (3) at which the coil (2) is arranged, the case (4) housing the assembly (10). The case (4) includes a bottom plate (40) that contacts a fixing object when the reactor (1) is installed on the fixing object, a side wall (41) that is mounted on the bottom plate (40) with an adhesive and surrounds the assembly (10), and a junction layer (42) that fixes the coil (2) to an inner surface of the bottom plate (40). The bottom plate (40) is formed of a material with higher thermal conductivity than that of the side wall (41). The reactor (1) easily transfers heat of the coil (2) to the bottom plate (40) and hence has high heat-release performance because the reactor (1) includes the bottom plate (40) with the high thermal conductivity and the coil (2) is joined to the bottom plate (40) through the junction layer (42).

  • Patent number: 8730001
Abstract: Provided is a reactor and a reactor component that can prevent cracking of a resin portion that is interposed between a coil and an internal core portion. The reactor includes a coil 10 and a core that includes an internal core portion 22 and a couple core portion 24. The coil 10 is formed by helically winding a wire. The internal core portion 22 is disposed inside the coil and forms a part of a closed magnetic path. The couple core portion 24 is joined to the internal core portion 22 and forms the remaining part of the closed magnetic path. The reactor includes a resin portion (internal resin portion 30) including a region that is interposed between the coil 10 and the internal core portion 22, and a cushioning member 70 that is interposed between the resin portion and the internal core portion 22 and that does not cover the couple core portion 24. It is preferable that the material of the cushioning member 70 has a Young's modulus that is smaller than a resin material of the resin portion.

  • Publication number: 20140133204
Abstract: A reactor 1 of the present invention includes a coil 2, a magnetic core 3 at which the coil 2 is disposed, and a case 4 storing a combined product 10 made up of the coil 2 and the magnetic core 3. The case 4 includes a bottom plate portion and a side wall portion 41A surrounding the combined product 10. The side wall portion 41A is made of an insulating resin. A hook portion 43a on which a line 71, which is coupled to a sensor 7 for measuring the physical quantity of the reactor 1, such as a temperature sensor, is hooked is integrally molded with the side wall portion 41A by the resin structuring the side wall portion 41A. Allowing the line 71 to be hooked on the hook portion 43a and fixed thereto, the sensor 7 can be prevented from being displaced or coming off because of the line 71 being pulled or the like. Thus, the sensor 7 can be maintained at a proper position.

  • Publication number: 20140125308
Abstract: To provide a reactor with which resin can fully be packed between a core and a coil with ease, and in which the core can easily be handled when the reactor is manufactured. The reactor includes: a coil 10 formed with paired coil elements 10A and 10B that are made of a spirally wound wire, the coil elements being coupled to each other in a paralleled state; internal core portions 22 that are fitted into the coil elements 10A and 10B to structure a part of an annular core 20; and exposed core portions 24 that are exposed outside the coil elements 10A and 10B to couple the internal core portions 22 to each other, to thereby form the rest of the annular core 20. The reactor includes an external resin portion that covers at least a part of an assembled product 1A made up of the coil 10 and the core 20. An interval between the inner end face 24f of the exposed core portion 24 and the end face of the coil 10 is 0.5 mm to 4.0 mm, whereby the resin can easily be packed between the coil 10 and the core 20.
