  • Patent number: 6866479
Abstract: An axial-flow turbine has an exhaust diffuser including a hub-side tube and a tip-side tube. In the exhaust diffuser, front struts and rear struts are placed to cross a flow of working fluid. A wake generated behind the front strut diverts from the rear strut and passes through a gap between a pair of the rear struts. Otherwise, a wake generated behind the front strut hits against the front face of the rear strut. The front struts are equal to or multiple of the rear struts in number.

  • Patent number: 5064014
Abstract: In a method of controlling a power steering system, which controls a steering force in accordance with an engine revolution when no vehicle velocity signal is supplied, after the engine revolution becomes a first predetermined value or more, and subsequently becomes a second predetermined value or less and a third predetermined value or more, the steering force is controlled in accordance with the engine revolution.

  • Patent number: 4931966
Abstract: In a method for measuring vehicle speed, initial vehicle speed measurement after a vehicle speed measurement power supply is turned on, is based on the predicted number of pulses to occur during a time interim which is in turn based on a period of a single pulse generated by a vehicle speed signal. After a predetermined time interval has passed, vehicle speed measurement is based on the actual number of pulses generated by vehicle speed signals during that time interval.

  • Patent number: 4913250
Abstract: A control apparatus of a power steering device having a steering force control device for changing a steering force in accordance with a vehicle speed includes a detecting unit for detecting a road surface resistance. The steering force control device controls the power steering device such that the steering force is reduced as the road surface resistance obtained from the detecting unit is reduced.

  • Patent number: 4871952
Abstract: A motor speed control apparatus includes a ladder resistor circuit, a reference signal generator, and a comparator. The ladder resistor circuit selectively receives a voltage signal having a predetermined amplitude at a plurality of nodes. The ladder resistor circuit arranged to change an output voltage value thereof in accordance with a voltage application position. The level of the reference signal generator is periodically changed. The comparator compares a voltage value of the reference signal with an output voltage value of the ladder resistor circuit and outputs a pulse output having a variable pulse width on the basis of a comparison result. A motor speed is controlled on the basis of the pulse output.
