  • Patent number: 8090138
Abstract: A vehicle audio device includes a vibrator (30), a first threaded member (20), a second threaded member (32), and a ring-shaped resilient member (25). The first threaded member (20) includes a tubular portion (22), an external thread (22m) formed on an outer surface of the tubular portion (22), and a flange (24) formed on one end of the tubular portion (22). The resilient member (25) is fitted around the tubular portion (22) of the first threaded member (20) so as to axially oppose the flange (24) of the first threaded member (20). The second threaded member (32) includes a ring-shaped portion (32f) axially opposing the resilient member (25) from the side of the resilient member (25) not opposing the flange (24) of the first threaded member (20). Internal threads (32w) are formed on an inner surface of the ring-shaped portion (32f) and are engageable with the external threads (22m) of the first threaded member (20). The vibrator (30) is mounted to one of the first and second threaded members (20, 32).

  • Patent number: 5661819
Abstract: A corner area between the bottom and the side of a cylindrical container is set as a test area. An objective lens of a TV camera is mounted to form a predetermined angle with the central axis of the cylindrical container. An image is generated on the screen of an image processing device based on the image captured by the TV camera. One-dimensional position detection slits Ws1 through Ws3 normally cross the arc of the ring-shaped highlighted portion corresponding to the corner area at three points. The coordinates of the intersections P1 through P3 of the position detection slits and the highlighted portions are obtained. They are substituted in the circular equation to calculate the coordinate (.alpha., .beta.) of the center of the circle 0 having the intersections P1 through P3 on its circumference.

  • Patent number: 5453612
Abstract: The container inner surface tester extracts image information about the opening portion and the deformation of the inner surface of a test cylindrical container through an image recognizing technique, and checks the circularity of the opening portion of the container. If it is detected that the present cylindrical container indicates a major defect level higher than a minor defect level according to the check of the image inside the container, then the production line of containers is immediately stopped to minimize the occurrences of major defective containers. Furthermore, the cylindrical container inner surface tester identifies the adjacent point of cylindrical containers through calculations and logical operations according to the image information.

  • Patent number: 5412203
Abstract: A cylindrical container inner surface tester which illuminates an opening of a test container. The test container is located at a predetermined position with its opening set levelly to capture the opening through a TV camera. The tester also detects black and white spots on the inner surface of the cylindrical container. This is accomplished by analyzing an image obtained by the TV camera using defect detecting means. The tester includes a frame memory which stores a multi-value continuous tone image signal as image data. The image signal is obtained by A/D-converting from a continuous tone image signal obtained by scanning the captured image. The tester also includes an area detecting unit which generates a binary image signal by binary-converting from a multi-value continuous tone image signal read by horizontally or vertically scanning the frame memory. This is accomplished using a predetermined threshold. The area detecting unit is also used to determine a test area.

  • Patent number: 5338000
Abstract: The cylindrical container inner surface tester extracts image information about the opening portion and the deformation of the inner surface of a test cylindrical container through an image recognizing technique, and checks the circularity of the opening portion of the container. According to the image information, it specifies the position of a test cylindrical container as a predetermined position. Since it sequentially checks a series of cylindrical containers, the adjacent point between the containers must be identified. Then, the cylindrical container inner surface tester identifies the adjacent point of cylindrical containers through calculations and logical operations according to the image information.

  • Patent number: 4903316
Abstract: A binarizing apparatus used for optical character readers or character-and-graphic input devices, in which a sharp binary image can be obtained even from low-contrast character lines (or line segments) by discriminating a line graphic from stains wider than the character lines or from blurs in the background thereof. Eight surrounding subwindows are disposed around a target subwindow enclosing a target pixel, the surrounding subwindows being separated from each other at a distance larger than the character line width, and each of the subwindows having 3.times.3 pixels. The average density value of the respective subwindow is calculated to thereby compare the respective density values of the target subwindow and each surrounding subwindow or compare the density values of the respective surrounding subwindows. Consequently, whether the target pixel belongs to character line or whether it does not belong thereto, is judged to thereby perform binarizing.

  • Patent number: 4365609
Abstract: In a distributor assembly having an ignition coil therein, for use with an internal combustion engine, the positional relationship between the ignition coil and a magnetic sensitive detector, which detects a proper ignition timing, is selected so that the leakage flux from the ignition coil does not cause the magnetic sensitive detector to malfunction. According to one arrangement the magnetic sensitive direction of the detector is arranged perpendicular to the leakage flux from the ignition coil. According to the other arrangement the magnetic sensitive direction of the detector is arranged to intersect a radial line from the axis of the main magnetic flux of the ignition coil at an angle other than 90 degrees so that the flux variation in the detector is expedited by the appearance and disappearance of the leakage flux.
