  • Publication number: 20130174515
Abstract: A sealed letter preparing apparatus 1 includes a printing unit 2 that performs printing on an envelope and an enclosure alternately, and an enclosing-sealing unit 3. The enclosing-sealing unit is configured to carry the printed envelope by the first carrier passage 10, carry the printed sheet as the enclosure by the second carrier passage 20, enclose the enclosure in the envelope by the envelope opening-enclosing means 60 at an intersection position of the both passages, and seal the envelope by a sealing means 70 so as to discharge the envelope into a discharge stocker 44. The sealed letter preparing apparatus has a simple and compact structure with less incidence of enclosing error, which is suitable for preparation of one-to-one direct mail.

  • Publication number: 20010037744
Abstract: There is provided a target (74) in a hollow portion formed in a stencil sheet roll (72). A stencil printing machine (12) includes at least one of a distance sensor (82) for measuring a position of the target (74) and a measurement device for measuring a color. The stencil printing machine (12) further includes a discrimination device for discriminating a type of the stencil sheet roll (72) in accordance with the measured position of the target (72) or in accordance with the obtained color information of the target (72). It is possible to discriminate various types of stencil sheet rolls with a simple structure. Therefore, it is possible to prevent a wrong stencil sheet roll from being set in the stencil printing machine (12).

  • Patent number: 6020094
Abstract: In a method for forming a duplicate image by reading an original image from an original sheet and forming a duplicate image according to the original image, to allow the designation of a number of regions for forming duplicate regional images, from an overall image, with desired color separation or other various attributes to be carried out accurately, promptly and simply by mounting the original sheet only once on a digitizer or the like without regard to the number of processes of forming a duplicate image, a plurality of regions designated on a single original sheet are stored in a storage device such as computer memory, either the designated region stored in the storage device or the region other than the designated region is defined as an effective region, a duplicate image of only the effective region is formed for a first process of forming a duplicate image, only the region other than the effective region for the first process of forming a duplicate image is defined as a new effective region, and a du

  • Patent number: 5713279
Abstract: A stencil printing machine in which a rolled stencil is cut for obtaining a printing stencil of a printing image, the stencil printing machine includes: printing-stencil making section including a thermal head and a platen roller, for making the printing stencil from the rolled stencil held and conveyed by the thermal head and the platen roller; a cutter for cutting the rolled stencil to obtain the printing stencil; and controller for controlling the platen roller such that the front end portion of the rolled stencil separated from the printing stencil by the cutter is moved a predetermined distance backwardly, towards the printing-stencil making section, and then moved forwardly beyond the cutter to a predetermined position.

  • Patent number: 5575205
Abstract: A stencil printing machine including a stencil presence/absence detector for determining whether or not a stencil sheet is wound on a rotary cylindrical drum when the rotary cylindrical drum is located at a predetermined position of rotation; a memory for storing latest data on the presence or absence of the stencil sheet which is detected by the stencil presence/absence detector and a controller which, in confirmation of the presence or absence of a stencil sheet for a printing process or a stencil making process, reads the latest data from the memory and performs necessary processes according to the latest data thus read.

  • Patent number: 5397118
Abstract: Provided is a vertical movement control device for a paper feed table device which allows a favorable paper feeding action to be carried out at an appropriate paper feed pressure for all kinds of paper without involving any failure to properly lift the paper feed table or any occurrence of seizure of the electric motor, and eliminates any unduly long waiting period even when the required lift of the paper feed table is relatively great due to addition of new paper or removal of paper jamming. An upper limit sensor 19 detects if the upper surface of the paper stack on the paper feed table 1 has reached a prescribed height by the upward movement of the paper feed table 1.
