  • Patent number: 5564041
Abstract: A microprocessor having a buffer or memory capable of holding a plurality of instructions in advance of execution also functions to insert a special bus cycle amongst the instructions for outputting the internal information of the microprocessor to the outside in a predetermined operation mode at the time of each execution. The information inside of the microprocessor, which is to be outputted to the outside in the special bus cycle, is identified by the address of the executed instruction in a memory space, an instruction code or the code for identifying said executed instruction in the instruction group prefetched. In an emulation of the system using the instruction prefetch type microprocessor, as described above, what instruction has been executed can be easily known from the outside to effect an accurate emulation analysis and to facilitate the analysis of trace data thereby to improve debugging efficiency.

  • Patent number: 5550686
Abstract: Apparatus for loading and unloading a tape-type recording medium in a recording/reproducing device, such as a VTR. The apparatus has a rotary drum carrying magnetic heads, and a pair of rail members arranged around the rotary drum and each having a first elongated slot formed therein. Tape guides are guided along respective rail members, and a drum base is provided having a drum support portion for supporting the rotary drum. Second elongated slots are formed at the outer side of the drum support portion, the second elongated slots being connected to corresponding first elongated grooves so as to form continuous guide grooves for guiding the tape guides. Interconnectors are provided either on the drum base or on the rail members so as to interconnect the portions which define the elongated slots in the regions of these grooves near their open ends to prevent bending of the slots.

  • Patent number: 5487627
Abstract: A cutter body for counter sink drilling fiber reinforced plastic materials, such cutter body having a pilot portion at a distal end of the cutter body and a countersinking section formed adjacent to the pilot portion in a region on the base end side of the cutter body. The countersinking section comprises three unit machining sections disposed with equal angular intervals in the circumferential direction of the cutter body. Each unit machining section comprises an abrasive layer formed by electrodepositing diamond abrasive grains on a conical surface in turn provided on the cutter body with a chip discharge groove and a finishing edge overhanging from the abrasive layer by an amount t and disposed in order successively rearward in the direction of rotation of a drill or cutter. The finishing edge is formed on a hard sinter, which contains diamond grains as a main ingredient, on a laminar sinter.

  • Patent number: 5234780
Abstract: An exposure mask for lithography, a method of manufacturing the same, and an exposure method using the same are disclosed. A light-transmitting opening of the exposure mask has a main light-transmitting region located in the middle of the opening and having a first optical path length, and phase shift regions adjacent to a light-shielding layer and having a second optical path length, different from the first optical path length. Light transmitted through each phase shift region interferes with light transmitted through the main light-transmitting region at the edges of the light-transmitting opening, thus enabling a sharp photo-intensity distribution of total transmitted light to be obtained. As a result, the resolution of the exposure mask is improved.

  • Patent number: 5119499
Abstract: The execution of an instruction for one of co-processors is subrogated by information processing function implemented in the host-processor. When a co-processor identification code involved in the instruction for the co-processor agrees with a host-processor internal processing identification code set in the host-processor, the instruction decoder of the host-processor starts the information subrogating processing function. Thus, protocol control for communication from the host-processor to co-processors can be omitted so that a high-speed data processing becomes possible.
