  • Patent number: 9347396
Abstract: A piston pin structure for an engine is provided, which suppresses integral resonance of a piston, a piston pin, and a smaller end part of a connecting rod with respect to a larger end part of the connecting rod on the combustion stroke, as well as suppresses an increase of noise on other strokes, and restricts the fixed dynamic absorber inside the piston pin from coming off and ensures a coming-off function. The piston pin structure may include a dynamic absorber including a fixed part fixed to a piston pin, a movable part extending in the axial direction of the piston pin, and a supporting part for swingably supporting the movable part with respect to the fixed part. A restriction mechanism for mechanically restricting the movement of the dynamic absorber in the axial direction may also be included.

  • Patent number: 7815086
Abstract: A nailing machine is provided with a nailing machine body 1 in which a contact arm 16 is arranged so as to slide along a nose portion 10, and a plurality of contact noses 2(3) having different inside diameters. The contact noses 2(3) can be mounted to and dismounted from a lower end of the contact arm 16, and nails having different diameters can be used by exchanging the contact noses 2(3). The inside diameter of the nose portion 10 is so formed as to fit to a large nail 21 having the largest head diameter among the nails to be used. A diameter of a driver 5 is so formed as to fit to the contact nose 2(3) for a small nail 22 having the smallest head diameter. A conical pipe portion 25 which is upwardly enlarged in diameter for guiding a nail tip is formed in an upper part of the contact nose 2(3). An upper end of this conical pipe portion 25 is so formed as to have a larger diameter than that of the nose portion 10.

  • Publication number: 20090206119
Abstract: In a contact mechanism operable to cause an operation of a trigger to be effective by relatively moving upward with respect to a nose portion 4, a lower contact member 11 is held between two springs 23, 24 provided respectively at upper and lower positions near the nose portion 4, and a lower end of the lower contact member 11 is biased by the upper spring 23 so as to protrude downward from a lower end of the nose portion. Further, there is provided a switching device 28 which can switch between a first position in which the lower contact member 11 is held at an upper position against the upper spring 23, a second position in which the contact member is held at a lower position against the lower spring 24, and a third position in which a movement of the contact member is not restricted.

  • Publication number: 20090101690
Abstract: A contact arm 15 of a driving tool is disposed to be movable in a vertical direction along an eject path on a nose part 4 disposed in a lower portion of a tool main body 2. A leading end portion of the contact arm is projected beyond a leading end of the nose part 4. In a nail driving operation, the contact arm is moved upward with respect to the nose part 4 to thereby activate an operation of a trigger. The nose part 4 includes a small-thickness wear plate 9 integrally connected to the tool main body 2, and a small-thickness driver guide 8 connected to a front portion of the wear plate 9. A leading end member 17 of the contact arm 15 is disposed to be slidable along a rear surface of the wear plate 9. An elastic contact top 18 is fixed to an outer surface of a leading end of the leading end member 17.
