  • Patent number: 8138133
Abstract: The present invention provides a gear oil composition for vehicle driving systems, more specifically a gear oil composition for vehicle final reduction gears, which can improve a fuel-saving effect by reducing its viscosity and, at the same time, secure bearing fatigue life characteristics. The gear oil composition comprises a base oil (A) and another base oil (B), described below, and at least one species of additive for gear oil, and has a kinematic viscosity of 80 mm2/s or less at 40° C.: (A): a mineral-based oil and/or hydrocarbon-based synthetic oil having a kinematic viscosity of 3.5 to 7 mm2/s at 100° C., and (B): a mineral-based oil and/or hydrocarbon-based synthetic oil having a kinematic viscosity of 20 to 52 mm2/s at 100° C.

  • Patent number: 6671943
Abstract: In a method of manufacturing a sliding member, a granular spraying material is sprayed on at least a part of a surface of a body portion made of a structural material in at least partially fusing condition and in the direction which is parallel to or diagonal to a sliding surface. Then, a sprayed layer is formed by depositing the spraying material in the direction which is perpendicular to the sliding surface. The sliding surface is a section of the deposited spraying material which is obtained by grinding or cutting the sprayed layer in depositional direction.

  • Patent number: 5436558
Abstract: A testing integrated circuit for a semiconductor chip, having an integrated circuit, includes a selector, provided in the integrated circuit of the semiconductor chip, for selecting one of a first set of signals supplied from external portions of the semiconductor chip and a second set of signals used for measuring voltages at respective predetermined portions in an internal circuit of the semiconductor chip. The first set of signals is converted from analog to digital signals during a normal operation of the semiconductor chip. An analog-to-digital converter provided in the integrated circuit receives an analog signal output from the selector and produces a digital signal. A plurality of output pads disposed in the semiconductor chip transmits the digital signal from the analog-to-digital converter to the external portions. The output pads correspond to a bit quantity of the analog-to-digital converter.

  • Patent number: 5184162
Abstract: A testing integrated circuit using an A/D converter provided in an integrated circuit on a semiconductor chip. A selector is provided for selecting either an external signal supplied from an external portion of the chip or an internal signal generated by an internal circuit of the chip, and for outputting the selected signal. The A/D converter, which receives an output from the selector, is normally used for A/D-converting an external signal. During reliability test, the A/D converter receives a signal to measure a voltage from the internal portion of the chip, and A/D-converts the received signal. An output pad which transmits the output of the A/D converter to the external portion is also used as a general output pad. The general output pad is employed to A/D-convert the external signal.
