    Abstract: A pressure-fixable encapsulated toner each capsule of which comprises a core containing a pressure-fixable component and a shell entirely or partially covering the core, characterized in that the shell comprises a copolymer of 95-70% by weight of vinylidene chloride and 5-30% by weight of acrylonitrile. This encapsulated toner is excellent in the covering property of the shell, is easy to prepare, and exhibits good stable triboelectrical chargeability, developing ability, and pressure fixability to plain paper, during many repeated service operations.
