Abstract: A transmission controller operates an electrical oil pump in a steady mode, in which an operating load of the electrical oil pump is set at a steady load, during an idle stop, but operates the electrical oil pump in a high-pressure mode, in which the operating load of the electrical oil pump is higher than the steady load, for a predetermined period when an engine stops rotating.

Abstract: A time required until the friction element is completely engaged is delayed when a switch from a non-driving position to a driving position is detected or when the engine automatic stop condition no longer holds until the differential rotation of the friction element disappears after the engine automatic stop condition holds as compared with the case where the switch from the non-driving position to the driving position is detected or the engine automatic stop condition no longer holds after the differential rotation of the friction element disappears.

Abstract: An idle stop vehicle performs an idle stop to automatically stop an engine during a stop of the vehicle. The vehicle includes an idle stop condition determination unit for determining whether or not an idle stop condition holds, and an engine control unit for performing the idle stop when the idle stop condition holds before a stoppage time exceeds a specified time and prohibiting the idle stop after the stoppage time exceeds the specified time without the idle stop condition holding.

Abstract: An oil pressure control device for a transmission engages or disengages a frictional engagement element of the transmission by controlling an oil pressure supplied from a mechanical oil pump driven by a power source for driving a vehicle and an electric oil pump driven by an electric motor, and includes: an air entering determining unit which determines whether or not air enters the electric oil pump; and an air discharging unit which, when an ignition switch of the power source is switched from an ON state to an OFF state after the air entering determining unit has determined that air enters the electric oil pump, drives the electric oil pump such that the air entering the electric oil pump is discharged from the electric oil pump together with an oil.
