Abstract: A color photographic light-sensitive element is described comprising a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing therein a 3-anilino-5-pyrazolone magenta color-forming coupler represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein X represents a halogen atom or an alkoxy group; Ar represents an aryl group; R.sub.1 represents hydrogen, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or an alkylthio group; Y represents a non-metallic atomic group forming a 5-membered or 6-membered ring together with the ##STR2## group, except that Y does not include a carbonyl group; and Z represents hydrogen or a coupling-off group.The magenta color images obtained after color development processing of the color photographic light-sensitive element have an excellent light-fastness, and the formation of yellow stain in the unexposed areas thereof is prevented.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, said photographic light-sensitive material containing at least one cyan color-forming coupler represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein l represents 0, 1 or 2; X represents a group capable of being released upon the coupling reaction and having at least 6 carbon atoms; Y represents RCONH--, RNHCO-- or RNHCONH-- wherein R represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, an ethyl group or a methyl group substituted with one or more halogen atoms; n represents 1 or 2 and Y may be the same or different when n is 2; and the phenyl group can be substituted with a halogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms or an alkoxy group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms. The dyes formed from the cyan color-forming couplers have unusually good spectral absorption properties and exceptional fastness to light and heat.

Abstract: Discoloring and fading of silver halide color photographic materials are effectively prevented by incorporating a compound of the formula (I) or (II) in a silver halide photographic layer thereof ##STR1## wherein A represents an aryl group; R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each represents hydrogen, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, or an aryl group, except that R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 cannot all be hydrogen atoms; R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 each represents hydrogen, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an alkylthio group, an acyl group, an aryloxy group, a carboxy group, a sulfo group or a hydroxy group; and R.sub.6 and R.sub.7 each represents hydrogen, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an alkylthio group, an acyl group, or a hydroxy group; or R.sub.6 and R.sub.7 together form an ##STR2## group or a 5-membered or 6-membered carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring.

Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material and a process for preparing the same are disclosed wherein an oil-soluble photographic additive and, in particular, a cyan coupler is dissolved in an epoxy compound of the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each represents an alkyl group or substituted alkyl group containing 1 to 40 carbon atoms, an alkoxycarbonyl group or substituted alkoxycarbonyl group containing 1 to 40 carbon atoms, or a hydrogen atom, provided that R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 do not represent hydrogen atoms at the same time and that the sum of the number of carbon atoms of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 is 8 to 60, and R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 may be the same or different and may combine to form a ring; or in an epoxy compound formed by linking two compounds of said formula (I) which may be the same or different through any of R.sub.1 to R.sub.4 or the ring formed by R.sub.1 to R.sub.4.
