    Abstract: A toy character assembly having a coiled tail spring connected to one of said legs. There is mechanism provided for movably mounting the legs relative to said body portion. A gear train is operated by a motor to move the legs relative to the body portion in a downwardly direction to compress the coiled tail spring and then release the legs and body portion to set up a harmonic motion of the body and spring tail.
