Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for an improved inventory management system. The system supports a medical service provider by interfacing an inventory management application with a database of electronic medical records. In one embodiment, a single graphical user interface interfaces the inventory management application with the database of electronic medical records, thus providing a simplified, transparent solution as compared to the separate, independent, and non-interfaced systems currently available. By interfacing the inventory management application with the database of electronic medical records, inventory accuracy may be increased and processing times may be decreased.
