  • Publication number: 20240061638
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system for handling critical incidents from external control, information and networking systems. In one embodiment, the system includes a mapping module, a presentation formatting module, a distribution module, and a least one display device. The mapping module is configured to receive alert information from external systems, search for information relevant to the critical incident, and aggregate the alert information and relevant information into a persistent arrangement that maps the source of such information. The presentation formatting module is configured to define a visual data presentation that allows for displaying alert information and relevant information in a useful format. The distribution module is configured to send the visual data presentation to one or more end-points. The display device(s) is located at such an end-point(s) and configured to receive and display the visual data presentation to personnel responsible for mitigating and curing the critical incident.

  • Patent number: 10031711
Abstract: A redundant display system includes a communication network, display devices, first and second display nodes, a control node, a monitoring node, and a system node. Display devices each include first and second display inputs. First display nodes include first display outputs, each connected to a first display input to display digital content on display devices and can be assigned the role of main or redundant display node. Second display nodes include second display outputs, each connected to a second display input to display digital content on display devices and can be assigned the role of main or redundant display node. The control node sends digital content to the display nodes. The monitoring node collects operational information of the display nodes and generates alerts if the operational information indicates a failure. The system node receives alerts from the monitoring node and reassigns roles of the display nodes based on the alerts.

  • Publication number: 20020116539
Abstract: A large scale display system comprises a plurality of computing devices. The computing devices may include a control computer, a display computer, a source computer, and a remote control computer. In operation, three software components, a source server, a user server and an interface manager, are employed by the control computer. In turn, software agents are deployed in a source computer and in a display computer. The interface manager allows an operator to remotely compose, display and monitor a collection of sources that are simultaneously displayed on the video wall. The display sources can be local to the control computer or as is often the case, reside on a remote source computer.
