  • Patent number: 11962151
Abstract: A system for controlling power supply to a load from a power supply line including a first circuit, at least a second circuit, a control module, and a monitoring module. The first circuit includes a first path for supplying power to the load, and a first switching mechanism for controlling the supply of power through the first path. The second circuit includes a second path for supplying power to the load and a second switching mechanism for controlling the supply of power through the second path. The control module is configured to output control signals to control operations of the circuits to independently switch on or off each of the respective paths. The monitoring module is configured to monitor physical quantity parameters of the paths, to detect deviations of the physical quantity parameter values from respective reference values to check the consistency between the first and second path.

  • Publication number: 20240027543
Abstract: Vehicle ground connection diagnostic apparatus including voltage sensors for sensing the voltage on each of a plurality of ground connector lines, each providing a conduction path from an electronic control unit to ground. A plurality of switches is associated with a respective ground connector line and are controllable for switching between a connected state and a disconnected state. A controller controls the plurality of switches and identifies a ground connection fault based on identifying a change in sensed voltage characteristics on one of the ground connection lines between condition (a) when the switches are in a connected state and condition (b) when the switch for the one ground connection line is in the connected state and the or all switches for the or all other ground connection lines are in a disconnected state.

  • Publication number: 20240010092
Abstract: In aspects, a vehicle charging diagnostic apparatus includes a voltage sensor for determining a voltage on a control pilot line and a diagnostic controller for identifying a first fault in response to detecting a negative voltage at or below a threshold. The vehicle charging diagnostic apparatus can further include a current sensor for sensing the current on the proximity pilot line. The diagnostic controller can then identify a further fault in response to detecting fluctuations in the current using the current sensor.
