  • Publication number: 20050158399
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing a transparent and homogenized polymeric sol of a calcium phosphate compound, containing apatite and having excellent wettability and bioactivity, according to a sol-gel synthesis, and a method for coating the polymeric sol on a metal implant, in which the polymeric sol is coated on the metal implant and then heat-treated to form a dense coated layer strongly bonded to the metal implant. The polymeric sol is obtained by process of preparing a calcium salt solution, containing calcium ethoxide dissolved in organic acid, and a phosphate solution, containing triethyl phosphite or triethyl phosphate dissolved in the organic acid, mixing the calcium salt solution with the phosphate solution to produce a mixed solution, and aging the mixed solution.

  • Patent number: 6812430
Abstract: A glass cutting apparatus includes a positioning unit that positions a laser beam along a virtual line on a glass to be cut. A laser beam unit irradiates a laser beam onto the glass along the virtual line. The virtual line is divided into at least two portions and at least one of the two portions is divided into a plurality of sub-portions. The energy of the laser beam is maintained constant in each of the plurality of sub-portions. A related glass cutting method is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20040156945
Abstract: An injection mold includes: a fixed mold having a passage for introducing a fluid therethrough and an internal space; a movable mold detachably attached to the fixed mold and forming a molding space together with the internal space of the fixed mold; and a flow accelerating means provided on an inner wall of the molding space and accelerating flow of the fluid. A molding system having the injection mold, a molded product by the molding system and its molding method are also disclosed. Since a glossy surface is formed at the outer surface of a plastic product, a molded product, without a weld line or a gas flow mark, the external appearance is fine and the mechanical strength is enhanced. In addition, since no surface processing equipment or process is required to make the external appearance of the plastic product fine, the structure can be simplified, a stability can be heightened, a cost for installation of equipment can be reduced, and a fabrication process can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 6763526
Abstract: The present invention relates to an air vent structure for an inner air discharge of a helmet adapted to protect a user's head when a user rides a motorcycle, and in particular to an air vent structure for a helmet which is capable of preventing a breath steam from forming in an inner surface of a shield by installing an air vent in lower both sides of a shield installed in a front side of a helmet and accurately adjusting an opening and closing degree of an air vent. It is a primary object of the present invention to provide an air vent structure for a helmet which is capable of discharging an inner air based on the flow of an air of an air vent by installing an air vent at both lower sides of a shield of a helmet, improving a structure of an air flow of an air vent and accurately adjusting the amount of flowing air, and it is possible to adjust the flowing amount of air based on a helmet user's condition and a state of an inner and outer side of a helmet for thereby implementing a pleasant state.

  • Patent number: 6656008
Abstract: A device for forming partition walls of a plasma display panel is disclosed. This device has a lower plate used for seating the base panel of the plasma display panel thereon, with a partition wall sheet of a predetermined thickness formed on the base panel and a plurality of electrodes arranged on the base panel. A punch, having a plurality of partition wall forming grooves and a plurality of lands formed between the partition wall forming grooves. An electrode holding groove or inclined surface is formed on each of the lands and is used for preventing the electrodes from being undesirably moved during a partition wall forming process. An upper plate is positioned above the punch so as to hold the punch and to move the punch in a vertical direction within a predetermined range.
