Abstract: A method of interfacing between devices in a home network control device includes dividing a screen into at least two areas, assigning a predetermined contents service function to each of the divided screen areas, sensing the position of the screen that an external device approaches and the distance between the screen and the external device reproducing content, and performing the contents service function differently between devices for each screen area according to the position of the screen that the external device approaches and the distance between the screen and the external device.

The method includes displaying a menu page including menu items on a menu region of a display; allocating an information region on a portion of the menu region; dividing and reconfiguring the menu page in units of small pages according to a size of a reduced menu region caused by a simultaneous display of the information region and the menu page; and displaying the reconfigured menu page on the reduced menu region.

Abstract: Provided are method and apparatus for writing and reproducing a multimedia service using a tag in order to provide an intuitive interface for a user using a multimedia service. The method includes selecting a multimedia service to be written; generating tag information identifying the selected multimedia service; and writing the generated tag information to a tag. Accordingly, multimedia service information and content information can be stored in a tag by being written to tag information using a common format, and thus the user can later execute a service operation by easily writing information of a desired service operation to a tag and then simply connecting the tag to a tag reading device.
