  • Publication number: 20170228460
Abstract: Single-click delta analysis is disclosed. A user query of status information collected from one or more monitored devices is received from a user. In response to receiving an indication from the user to determine a variance between different portions of the collected status information, a target query and a baseline query are generated using the user query. The generated target query and the generated baseline query are performed, respectively, against data in a data store including the status information collected from the one or more monitored devices. A target set of status information results and a baseline set of status information results are obtained in response to performing, respectively, the generated target query and the generated baseline query. The obtained target and baseline sets of results are combined. Output indicative of a variance between the target and baseline sets of status information results is provided based at least in part on the combining.

  • Publication number: 20170048109
Abstract: A method may include determining first network data corresponding to a first time period, including alarm data and incident data collected by a set of network devices of a core network during the first time period. The method may include creating, based on the first network data, an incident prediction model. The method may include receiving second network data, associated with the core network, corresponding to a second time period. The second network data may include alarm data and incident data collected by a network device, of the set of network devices, during the second time period. The method may include generating, based on the second network data and the incident prediction model, an incident prediction that includes a prediction whether the network device will experience an incident during a third time period.

  • Publication number: 20160164596
Abstract: A method for receiving, by circuitry of an optical node adapted for wavelength multiplexing and wavelength switching, over an OSC an optical signal comprising overhead information indicative of status of at least one of an optical layer in an OTN; terminating the optical signal; notifying software of the status of the optical layer; detecting, based on the status of the optical layer, a uni-directional or bi-directional failure of a working path between the optical node and a second optical node, wherein the working path carries data traffic from the first optical node to the second optical node in the OTN when there is no failure in the working path; and switching, triggered by the uni-directional or bi-directional failure of the working path, to select the data traffic from a protection path, wherein the protection path carries data traffic between the optical node and the second optical node.

  • Patent number: 9342571
Abstract: Obfuscating data is disclosed. A processor identifies structured information in log data. The structured information is transformed in a manner that preserves the structure to form transformed raw data. The transformed raw data is sent to a remote analysis engine. The remote analysis engine receives a query and responds to the query by providing as results at least a portion of the transformed raw data. A processor is configured to de-transform the transformed raw data.

  • Patent number: 9311387
Abstract: Automatically generating a parser is disclosed. Raw data is received from a first remote device. A determination that the raw data does not, within a predefined confidence measure, conform to any rules included in a set of rules is made. A clustering function is performed on the raw data. At least one parser rule is generated based on the clustering.

  • Publication number: 20150140186
Abstract: The protection of low-acid, high moisture and/or high water activity processed food products against outgrowth of Clostridium botulinum. It was surprisingly found that combinations of propionic acid and/or a salt thereof with nisin are very effective in preventing Clostridium botulinum outgrowth. In certain embodiments, cinnamic acid and/or a salt thereof can be added to these combinations to give particularly good results. These combinations provide a preservative system that is particularly effective against Clostridium botulinum outgrowth. The use of these preservative systems in food products that are conductive to Clostrisium botulinum outgrowth. The food products including these preservative systems and the methods of producing them.

  • Publication number: 20140302218
Abstract: The present invention relates to a preservative system capable of protecting against spoilage by bacteria, yeasts and moulds in carbonated and non-carbonated beverages. In accordance with the invention this objective is realized with a preservative system comprising a combination of vanillin and cinnamate. Vanillin is known for its anti mould action. However the dosages that are needed of are too high for most applications. The present inventors found that potassium cinnamate at low concentrations has a positive effect on the inhibition of moulds in combination with vanillin. Moreover, the present invention, using a combination of vanillin cinnamate accomplishes complete inactivation of moulds at manageable sensory levels. Hence the present invention provides a preservation system comprising combinations of vanillin and cinnamate as well as applications of such preservation systems in alimentary products, especially carbonated and non-carbonated beverages.

In accordance with the invention this objective is realized with a preservative system comprising a combination of propionate with vanillin and/or cinnamate. Vanillin and propionate are both known for their anti mould action. However the dosages that are needed of the separate ingredients are too high for most applications. The present inventors found that potassium cinnamate at low concentrations has a positive effect on the inhibition of moulds in combination with vanillin and propionate. Moreover, the present invention, using a combination of vanillin, propionate and cinnamate accomplishes complete inactivation of all moulds at manageable sensory levels.
