  • Patent number: 6145411
Abstract: The invention discloses the structural improvement of a cork bottle opener. It is composed of a hollow cylinder, moving block and central rod. There is a cover locked at the top end of said hollow cylinder. And there is a section of inner thread in the inner wall of top end. The other end is combination end. A snap groove is set at the center of said moving block. The outer edge of said moving block has outer thread, which can be screwed to inner thread of hollow cylinder. The central rod penetrates to the hollow cylinder through a central hole on the cover. A handle is set at one end of said central rod, and a screw drill is set at another end. A constraint flange is set at the middle of central rod. A wedge is set at the end of constraint flange adjacent to screw drill. The wedge can be snapped to snap groove of moving block.

  • Patent number: 5305984
Abstract: A quick release coupling comprises a female member, a spring biased locking collar slidingly mounted over the female member, and a male member insertable into a central bore in the receiving element of the female member. The male member has an annular groove formed at a predetermined position around the insertion end thereof. The receiving element of the female member has four axially aligned, resilient cantilevers formed in the peripheral wall thereof surrounding the central bore. Each cantilever has an enlarged lug on the terminal end thereof which projects radially inwards from the inner periphery of the bore. The male member can be inserted into the female member by first pulling the collar to a rear position. During the insertion of the male member into the bore, a beveled rim on the insertion end engages the lugs to effect the outward flexure of the cantilevers. The cantilevers subsequently recover to intromit the lugs into the annular groove of the male member.

  • Patent number: 5143346
Abstract: A quick release faucet joint comprises a first circular flange provided on the rear of the faucet head with a cylindrical coupling sleeve extending rearwards therefrom, and a coupling ferrule with a second flange provided on the front thereof and having an internally threaded rear portion for securement to a water outlet pipe. A set of roughly L-shaped locking grooves, formed on the periphery of the terminal end of the coupling sleeve, engage corresponding locking pins in the coupling ferrule which protrude radially inwards from the inner periphery thereof when the coupling sleeve is inserted into and rotated within the coupling ferrule, releasably securing the two together. A spring loaded positioning rod on the first flange engages a selected positioning hole on the second flange when rotated into registry to prevent further rotation of the first flange until the position rod is manually retracted.

  • Patent number: 5110157
Abstract: The structure of a water faucet joint comprises a faucet having a main body integrated with a fastening sleeve, a stoppage sleeve and a conduit connector. The faucet has an inner washer recess for a stoppage-sleeve inner washer contracting therein, and an outer washer recess for a stoppage-sleeve outer washer contracting therein to press against the stoppage sleeve at its rear end. The inner washer and a coiled spring is encased in a spring-receiving recess which is formed on the interior of the stoppage sleeve. The stoppage sleeve is positioned but slidable in one way direction by the stoppage-sleeve inner and outer washers, and therebetween, a plurality of positioning holes are radially formed on the outer circumference of the fastening sleeve for a plurality of restraining members to be disposed and positioned therein.
