  • Patent number: 10771354
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a network management platform for managing a plurality of deployments are described herein. In an embodiment, a server computer receives a request to generate a plurality of network deployments, including first interface elements and rules for a first network deployment and second interface elements and rules for a second network deployment. The server computer sends the first network deployment to a first plurality of client computing devices and sends the second network deployment to a second plurality of client computing devices. When the server computer receives network usage data from the first and second plurality of computing devices, the server computer provides the network usage data to a network operation with an identification of a corresponding deployment.

  • Patent number: 9585085
Abstract: Computer systems and methods for managing network data consumption between a client computer and one or more server computers. A computer system comprising: a memory persistently storing a set of instructions; one or more processors coupled to the memory, wherein the one or more processors execute the set of instructions, which causes the one or more processors to: intercept, at a client computer, a first request to a first server computer from a first application being executed on the client computer before the client computer sends the first request to the first server computer; determine whether the first request should be monitored based on data associated with the first application; in response to determining that the first request should be monitored, redirect the first request to a second server computer that is different than the first server computer, and include one or more parameters that identify the first application and the first server computer.

  • Patent number: 8780278
Abstract: A motion-sensing remote control is described. In an embodiment, a television remote control can include various sensors that sense a motion of the device. The television remote control also includes an integrated circuit that receives a motion signal corresponding to the motion from the sensors and converts the motion signal into a remote control command. The television remote control further includes a light source that is activated by the integrated circuit to communicate the remote control command to a television client device to initiate a device action. In another embodiment, a television remote control can include various sensors that sense a motion of the device. The television remote control can also include computer-executable instructions that execute on a processor to translate the motion into a remote control command, and initiate communication of the remote control command to a television client device to initiate a device action.

  • Patent number: 8286212
Abstract: On-demand asset distribution is described. In embodiment(s), a client device can maintain an on-demand asset received from a content distributor, such as with a recording media. The client device can allocate upstream bandwidth for distribution of segments of video data for the on-demand asset to other requesting client devices. When the client device that maintains the on-demand asset receives a request from another client device for the on-demand asset, the segments of the video data for the on-demand asset can be communicated to the requesting client device utilizing the allocated upstream bandwidth.
