  • Publication number: 20080075919
Abstract: To provide a wiring board that permits the formation of a Cu plating layer maintaining sufficient adhesion to both a ceramic layer and a Ag connecting layer and a method for manufacturing the wiring board. [Solving means] Parts of the surface of the ceramic layer 12 and the upper surfaces of the Ag connecting layers 14 are covered with a Ag thin film layer 15. The Ag thin film layer 15 enhances a bonding strength between the Cu wiring layer 11 and the Ag connecting layer 14 and contributes to forming the Cu wiring layer 11 with a sufficient thickness on the ceramic layer 12 during a step of forming the Cu wiring layer 11 by electroless plating.

  • Patent number: 6417900
Abstract: A liquid crystal display unit has wider viewing angles and a brighter display. In this display unit, an alignment film is not required to be processed for alignment of a liquid crystal, thereby simplifying the manufacturing process. A first substrate and a second substrate are disposed such that they face each other. A liquid crystal having a negative anisotropy of dielectric constant is provided between the substrates. A common electrode and an alignment film which has a pretilt angle of 90°±1° and which is not rubbed are sequentially disposed on the surface of the first substrate facing the second substrate. A plurality of pixel electrodes are provided on the surface of the second substrate facing the first substrate so as to cover a display area of the liquid crystal. A conductive light-shielding member is disposed on the second substrate and positioned around each of the pixel electrodes in a non-display area of the liquid crystal.

  • Patent number: 4653941
Abstract: An impact dot matrix printer is disclosed in which a print head consisting of an array of dot pins constituted by wires arranged in a vertical direction faces a printing sheet via an ink ribbon and is reciprocable along a horizontal direction. While the print head is moved reciprocally, the dot pin array is driven according to printing data to print a dot pattern consisting of a plurality of dots in a dot matrix, the printing sheet being fed by one line pitch in a vertical direction after printing of each line.

  • Patent number: 4539571
Abstract: Disclosed is a thermal printing system in which, an auxiliary heating means is driven to heat a main heating means for dot printing to a print feasible temperature, and at the time of dot printing, the main heating means is heated to the said print feasible temperature. The main heating means and the auxiliary heating means are both disposed on the surface of a radiating substrate. The thermal head apparatus is thus simple in construction and capable of improving printing speed.

  • Patent number: 4514737
Abstract: According to this invention, a voltage signal generating circuit is provided for generating a voltage signal in synchronism with a print timing signal produced when a printing head is driven. A detection circuit detects a power source voltage for driving the printing head. A driving pulse output circuit outputs a driving pulse signal having a pulse generating timing and pulse width corresponding to variations in the power source voltage, on the basis of the voltage signal which is output from the voltage signal generating circuit and detection signal which is output from the detection circuit. A driving circuit is adapted to drive a driving head with a printing timing and printing pressure corresponding to the driving pulse signal.
