  • Publication number: 20100154610
Abstract: In a cut off apparatus, torque necessary for cutting band-like paper is properly distributed to both of the preceding motor and the following motor, thereby making it possible to accurately cut the band-like paper. Specifically, when the band-like paper is cut, the preceding knife and the following knife are given a specified amount of torque in the direction in which the preceding knife and the following knife are pressed against each other, by means of the preceding knife driving motor and the following knife driving motor.

  • Patent number: 6419443
Abstract: A glass product machining apparatus comprises a grindstone rotatable around an axis by means of a motor, moving table movable under the grindstone in the cross direction of the grindstone, frame for supporting the grindstone for up-and-down motion, lift, guides, supporting arms, pressure cylinder supported on the frame, and dressing machine for dressing or truing the grindstone. The pressure cylinder serves to apply a fixed elastic load to the grindstone as the grindstone shifts its position upward. A glass panel is located on the moving table. The panel moves together with the table. When the panel passes under the grindstone, an outer peripheral surface of the grindstone is brought into contact with the surface of the panel with a fixed force of pressure by the pressure cylinder. The grindstone relatively moves along the curved surface of the panel as it grinds the panel surface.

  • Patent number: 6325881
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method capable of certainly correcting a phase shift between a plurality of core paper layers. In the method according to this invention, the next phase shift quantity &dgr;′3 is estimated on the basis of a previous measured phase shift value &dgr;1 and the present measured phase shift value &dgr;2 and a single-faced corrugated fiberboard sheet tension changing quantity &Dgr;T1 for correction of the next phase shift quantity &dgr;′3 estimated is calculated to adjust the tension to the single-faced corrugated fiberboard sheet on the basis of the calculated tension changing quantity &Dgr;T1. This invention is effectively applicable when, for example, manufacturing a two-layer core single-faced corrugated fiberboard sheet or the like.

  • Patent number: 6065583
Abstract: A speed-variable conveyor includes a belt-formed fibrous body deformable in a moving direction and a width direction, a plurality of rollers mounted on both ends in the width direction of the fibrous body, and a pair of guide rails for movably supporting the rollers and differing in spacing according to the moving speed of the fibrous body. The moving speed of the fibrous body is low where the width of the fibrous body is large, and high where the width is small. A support moving body contacting a lower surface of the fibrous body for driving the fibrous body is provided. This reduces a load applied to the fibrous body.

  • Patent number: 6032713
Abstract: A first tension adjustor for adjusting the tension of a liner and a pitch measuring device for measuring the corrugation pitch of a first core board of a single-faced corrugated board are used. A first tension controller operates so that the tension acting on the liner is adjusted on the basis of the corrugation pitch of the first core board of the single-faced corrugated board. Further, a second tension adjustor for adjusting the tension of the single-faced corrugated board and a phase shift measuring device for measuring a phase shift between the corrugations of the first core board of the single-faced corrugated board and the corrugations of a second core board to be laminated to the first core board are used. A second tension controller operates so that the tension acting on the single-faced corrugated board is adjusted on the basis of the phase shift measured by the phase shift measuring device.
