    Abstract: An electronic weighing device comprises a weighing apparatus for generating weight data responsive to the weight of a load, a memory having a true value memory area and N data memory areas for time sequentially storing the weight data from this weighing apparatus in every sampling cycle, a display device for displaying at least the true value data stored in the true value memory area, and a control unit for storing into the true value memory area the true value data calculated by processing the weight data stored in the N data memory areas in accordance with a display blinking prevention process. When it is detected that the difference between the weight data derived in two successive sampling cycles is a predetermined value or more, the control unit inhibits the display blinking prevention process and stores into the true value memory area the true value data calculated on the basis of the weight data stored in the N data memory areas.
