  • Patent number: 7741940
Abstract: Disclosed is an actuator device for an optical device. The actuator device includes a core arranged in an optical device inside of which an optical path passes through, a coil wound around the core, and a rotational magnet formed into an approximately cylindrical shape, at least one end of which includes a bearing portion in an axial direction, and which rotates according to a direction of a magnet field output from the core by electrifying the coil. • Patent number: 7450170
Abstract: When a brightness level of an object is below a predetermined level, an ND filter is removed from an iris opening to fully open the iris opening, and when the brightness level of the object is above a predetermined level, the ND filter is placed to the iris opening to fully close the iris opening. When the ND filter is moved between the fully-opened state and the fully-closed state, an exposure change amount corresponding to an amount offsetting the exposure change amount due to a state transition is generated by controlling iris blades.

  • Patent number: 6253030
Abstract: A shutter for a camera has a film advance mechanism for advancing film past a shutter opening and a stroboscope for emitting light. The shutter has a base plate having the shutter opening, opening sectors for undergoing opening movement in an operational state to open the shutter opening during a shutter release operation, and closing sectors for undergoing closing movement in an operational state to close the shutter opening during the shutter release operation. A first detecting device detects the operational state of the opening sectors and outputs a signal to the stroboscope to emit light. A second detecting device detects the operational state of the closing sectors and outputs a signal for winding up the film. A non-opened state of the shutter opening is detected after the shutter release operation when the second detecting device detects the operational state of the closing sectors before the first detecting device detects the operational state of the opening sectors.

  • Patent number: 5997188
Abstract: A focal plane shutter has a base plate provided with a shutter opening, opening and closing sector groups each having a plurality of sectors, and a plurality of arms each having one end pivotally supported on the base plate so as to pivotally connect and support the sectors through connecting pins to form a parallel link mechanism. Each of the connecting pins has a tapered portion or a flange having a diameter small enough to prevent the action of each sector from being hindered when any of the sectors becomes interposed between any of the remaining sectors or an arm supporting the sector and any of the other sectors. Each of the arms may also have a reduced thickness portion proximate the connecting pin corresponding thereto to thereby prevent movement of the interposed sector from being hindered.

  • Patent number: 5826124
Abstract: A focal plane shutter comprises a base plate having a shutter opening, at least one shutter sector group having sectors, and arms pivotally connected to and supporting the sectors for displacing the sectors relative to the shutter opening. At least a first one of the sectors comprises an intermediate sector interposed between a second one of the sectors and one of the arms connected to and supporting the second sector. The intermediate sector has an edge portion disposed proximate a connection of the second sector and the arm connected to and supporting the second sector. At least the edge portion of the intermediate sector is thinner than other portions thereof to facilitate smooth displacement of the sectors relative to the shutter opening without any obstruction.

  • Patent number: 5546149
Abstract: A focal plane shutter for a camera comprises opening and closing blade units operable to open and close a shutter opening of the camera. Each blade unit has a leading blade and trailing blades in superposed relation to the leading blade. The leading blade and the trailing blades are supported by arm members through hollow pivot pins. The hollow pivot pins supporting the leading blade of each blade unit are covered by the trailing blades. Due to the use of hollow pivot pins, the overall weight and driving force of the blade units are effectively reduced to thereby make the shutter free of operational impact without light leakage.
