  • Publication number: 20170338588
Abstract: In the waterproof connector, a receptacle is provided with a first housing and first contacts, and a plug is provided with a second housing and second contacts. The first housing has a header at one end portion side and a quadrangular shaped waterproof ring mounted to allow close contact with an outer perimeter of the header. The second housing has in its interior a second contact housing chamber into which the header can be introduced, and has a shell which surrounds a periphery of the plurality of second contacts. The waterproof ring has a first pucker, formed with an undulating shape at an outer perimeter of the front portion, and which can closely contact at an inner wall of the shell, and a second pucker, formed with an undulating shape at an outer perimeter of the rear portion, and which can closely contact at an inner wall of a first frame.

  • Patent number: 7481686
Abstract: A connector for an IC card is provided which has a reduced height and in which self-correction is possible. The connector includes a plurality of cantilever contacts electrically connected to an IC card, each including a stationary arm and a resilient arm having a tip formed with a contact point. The connector also includes a housing holding the contacts and integrally formed with the stationary arm so that the contact point projects from one surface of the housing. The resilient arms are bendably arranged in parallel and are slidable with respect to the IC card inserted from any one of the first and second insertion directions.

  • Patent number: 7361037
Abstract: A card connector is provided, which includes a group of contact pieces, a substantially rectangular and tabular housing, and an eject mechanism for extracting an IC card. The contact pieces are electrically connected to connecting terminals of the IC card. The housing supports the group of contact pieces. The eject mechanism is provided in the housing. The IC card is inserted and extracted in substantially parallel with one plane of the housing. The eject mechanism includes a pair of guiding walls lying opposite to each other adjacent to the contact pieces, an eject plate which can slide between the pair of guiding walls, and a cover plate for the eject plate. The eject plate includes at its first end portion a bent strip abutting an end portion of the IC card, and at its second end portion a pull-out strip allowing extraction of the IC card.
