Abstract: A method for manufacturing high porosity graphite capillary structure includes preparing electrically conductive portions that are mateable to form an enclosed container, placing the electrical conductive portion that is connected to a negative terminal of a power source and a target material connected to a positive terminal into an electrolyte solution to form a basic micro-structure on the portion, subjecting the portion to a physical vapor deposition to deposit graphite on the basic micro-structure through sputtering to form a capillary structure primarily formed of graphite, combing the electrically conductive portions so treated to form the enclosed container that is then subjected to air evacuation and filling of a working fluid therein.
