    Abstract: An integrated circuit (IC) with active and dummy device cell arrays and a method of fabricating the same are discloses. The IC includes a substrate, an active device cell, and a dummy device cell. The active device cell includes an array of source/drain (S/D) regions of a first conductivity type disposed on or within the substrate and an array of gate structures with a first gate fill material disposed on the substrate. The dummy device cell includes a first array of S/D regions of the first conductivity type disposed on or within the substrate, a second array of S/D regions of a second conductivity type disposed on or within the substrate, and an array of dual gate structures disposed on the substrate. Each of the dual gate structures includes the first gate fill material and a second gate fill material that is different from the first gate fill material.

The processor extracts a target character audio track corresponding to the character indication signal, and controls the display unit to adjust a relative volume between the target character audio track and other audio tracks among the audio tracks when receiving the character indication signal.

The processor is configured to apply a filter matrix on an input signal to generate a filtered sound signal. The first speaker is electrically connected to the filter and emits a first sound signal according to the filtered sound signal. The second speaker is electrically connected to the filter and emits a second sound signal according to the filtered sound signal. The microphone is configured to receive the first and the second sound signal to obtain an actual sound signal. The processor is configured to compare the actual sound signal with a desired sound signal and obtain a sound signal error, and to adjust the filter matrix according to the sound signal error so that the actual sound signal approximates the desired sound signal.

    Abstract: A system for controlling fan noise includes a fan, a sensor, a signal processing unit, a net structure, and a piezoelectric element. The fan has an airflow inlet and an airflow outlet. The sensor is disposed near the airflow outlet and is used for receiving a sound signal made by the fan. After the signal processing unit receives the sound signal sent by the sensor, the signal processing unit provides an inversed phase signal by analysis and computation. The net structure is disposed at the airflow inlet. The piezoelectric element is disposed on the net structure. When the piezoelectric element receives the inversed phase signal provided by the signal processing unit, the piezoelectric element vibrates the net structure, so that the net structure generates an inversed phase sound to offset a noise made by the fan.
