  • Patent number: 5026307
Abstract: A battery terminal clamp of the type comprising a conductive sliding clip movably secured to a terminal clamp at one side by a screw for clamping on a side mounted battery terminal of a car battery. The conductive sliding clip is stopped from moving backward by a side projection made on the terminal clamp when it is pushed out to a clamping position. Two opposite side edges are bent inwards through 90.degree. angle to firmly attach to the two opposite side walls of the terminal clamp so as to protect the conductive sliding clip against torsional force.

  • Patent number: 4975089
Abstract: A jumper cable clamp to connect car batteries which includes a conventional terminal clamp having received therein a conductive expansion clip connected to an indication lamp. The conductive expansion clip may be pulled out and firmly retained by the resilient projections of a clip holder set in the clamp, such that the expansion clip is served to clip on the battery terminal. The indications lamp will be turned on to give a warning signal if the expansion clip is secured to the wrong battery terminal.

  • Patent number: 4923415
Abstract: This invention is to provide a new structure of jumper cable clamp to connect car batteries, which includes a conventional clamp having an insulated guide block set in one of the two clamping elements, which guide block is comprising a guide way for setting therein of a conductive charging clip, which conductive charging clip is further connected with an expansion spring, which expansion spring is further connected with an indicator lamp. When in use, the conductive charging clip may be pulled out and firmly engaged by the metal clamping jaw of the opposite clamping element, such that the conductive charging clip is served to clip on the battery terminal. Further, the indicator lamp will be turned on to give a warning signal if the clamp is secured to the wrong battery terminal.
