The switch unit is coupled to the headset plug and is used for modifying an order in which the plurality of signal interfaces transmits the plurality of signals according to a control signal.

Abstract: An electronic device capable of automatically determining a headset type includes a headset jack, a detection unit and a discrimination unit. The headset jack includes a plurality of transmission interfaces and is used for exchanging signals with a headset via the plurality of transmission interfaces. The detection unit is coupled to the headset jack and is used for detecting the signals exchanged via the plurality of transmission interfaces. The discrimination unit is coupled to the detection unit and is used for determining the signal allocation of the headset according to the signals exchanged via the plurality of transmission interfaces.
